Thank you for including how to mix the colors you use. I don't see that aspect of painting often enough, it's usually just 'mix some paint and get this color'.
This is fantastic. So inspiring! I'm going to try it for myself. I bought Createx Illustration paints and reducer a few years ago and never used them. And I have a Patriot Arrow and a compressor. Thank you so much for this. I'm off to watch Part 2. I also love your calm voice and gentle manner, as well as all the tips you provide.
I'm a bit confused, you are talking about values in the foreground vs background and I thought that saturation is what matters most (saturation and sharpness). In any case, thanks for your videos, I love your channel!
When working with a bunch of near grey shades there there isn’t much saturation to work with. Both effects are working to provide “atmospheric perspective”-in either case the choice to vary colors for distance is emulating the effect of things fading into the color of the air itself. For saturated colors you can desaturate them (as they fade into a pale blue-grey) and for dark colors you can also just lighten them for some of the same effect.
Where do you sell your art? Is there a market out there where art actually sells? I know of many folks that paint landscapes but have a garage full of unsold pieces. Their pieces are pretty good too. But just don't sell. Prices are low.
Glorious, I paint models, I used to paint with water colours, I've promised myself that I will do an AB painting one day.

I agree with you, a lot is overlooked in beginner tutorials. I'm sure I'm missing a lot too. Hopefully it is helpful- Thanks for the comment!
Yes this is making it so much easier to follow along

Gonna give this a try tomorrow, great looking landscape!
Great to hear. Go for it! It's a simple one. I'll have better landscape lessons in the future.
This is kind of like watching Bob Ross if he were doing airbrushing haha. Very enjoyable to watch.
haha 🤣 not my intention but glad you enjoyed it
What do you use for the eraser on the dremel?

I apologize if you have already answered this question but what is the dimensions of the canvas you are using?
I think this one was about 12" in height by 18" length. Not 100% sure as this was a while ago, but something about that size
oh man airbrushing that grass is so difficult 😢😅😅8:18
Where’s part 2??

Whispering!!!
My apologies for the sound. It's tough to get the volume right on this microphone, but unfortunately that's how my voice sounds on it.
