I always thought people who clean houses brought their own supplies but it makes sense that you wouldn't since different people could have allergies/ bad reaction to some products. TFS. These are fun videos to watch.

My company provides the products, but we use a eco friendly brand that is well loved. If our customers want us to use their cleaning products we do that for them. Same goes with vacuums, mops, dusters or anything that can spread allergens. They ask us to use theirs, we're more than happy to.

I’m slowly starting my own little house cleaning hustle. The hard part is getting clients and knowing exactly what to do and not under charge or over charge or do less/extra than what is supposed to be done if that makes sense
There are cleaning calculator apps to help you price your cleanings.
Omg i want to start mine too it’s been years… I’m so unhappy at my current 9-5 but am SO scared and over think it too much. I hope it’s going well for you and that I find the courage to try it for myself 👌🥹

@@domdaoust honestly I got discouraged. Like the houses that I *have* cleaned have nothing but amazing things to say. BUT I feel like I’m judged by family because I clean houses or something. Anytime I bring it up to my mom she’s like “noooo don’t clean houses” I’m sure she wants more for me but having a four year old and being able to make your own schedule so to speak is so important. So I’m not pursuing it anymore ☹️
@@alexislamberson1901 i am sorry to hear that it turned out like that for you because to me I don’t see anything wrong with it at all. I do accounting and I am bored out of my mind, I’d rather make my own hours. With music dancing. Make people feel cozy at home after their long days they get to just enjoy a clear space. And if this is just a way to make money so that you can actually pursue a bigger dreams… why not. .. just DONT live your life the way others want you to cause you will regret it. Take control of your life. I’m not and I hate myself for it everyday.. but I’ll try it… I don’t know what else to do …… we get judge no matter what anyway 👌
House cleaning looks so much easier and laid back then being a housekeeper in like a nursing home
I’m starting my own cleaning business. Well trying to anyways and before this I was actually working a nursing home. I just got upset at the way they were being treated in there and they way the nurses treated us housekeepers so me and my friend quit

I own my own cleaning business and I bring my own products because I can't stand how time consuming it is to use products that just aren't good, do you think that it takes you longer to use their products and it would if you got your own that were more reliable especially the mops every time I see those mops I cringe
Thank you for posting this. I am going to start cleaning. Was laid off two weeks because my schedule doesn’t work for many. I am a single mom of a 9 & 8 year old. I couldn’t afford aftercare so I always needed to leave early to pick them up from school and when they get sick I always had to call out because I have no family support. So I bought all these supplies most of them I can use at my house if I don’t use them else where but now the tough part is getting clients. I’m so nervous but I’m praying this will provide for my kids. Please provide any tips that will be helpful in this new journey.

Has anyone ever accused you of stealing? I'm thinking about trying to start cleaning a few homes locally because I love to clean, but I am nervous that the client would misplace something and accuse me of stealing it!
They have never verbally accused us stealing but we do get blamed for some things that get lost. It happens a lot whenever we clean messy rooms like kids or teenagers, and they ask us where we put things but in reality they were the ones that misplaced it🙄🤦🏽♀️
There’s been a few times that has happened and we just tell them that “Whatever is in that room, stays in that room. We organized things but we don’t take anything out of the rooms” and almost all the times they end up finding whatever they misplaced.
Nowadays they’re are so many houses with cameras so they can always check as well! I wouldn’t let that stop you! Cleaning makes so much money!

usually every week! we dust it off/ wipe it down to take out any fingerprints and things like that!

My mom handed out her cards like 20 years ago when she got to America! Now a lot of our clients come from word of mouth from clients we have! And we give a house a price and we don’t work per hour.
I'm a private housekeeper. I work 25 hours a week Monday thru Friday, and I get paid $600 weekly.

That Mop that you used at the first house is awful. A few strings smearing dirt , grime around.
