Musicality and footwork was INSANE.
This piece struck such an emotional response from me. I absolutely love all of Ian's work. Great dancer and even a better person. I wish him nothing but all the success that he can achieve in life!!!!
His footwork and his energy--and the fact that I always catch him moving to the most subtle parts of songs he dances to. It just shows how much he really loves music and dance. Seriously, the way he moves his body--it's freakin' hard to move that quickly and clean. My goodness.
first off ian's footwork was beyond amazing and then you throw in his musicality, it's ridiculous! he makes you appreciate the music so much more because he hits and touches on things in the music that most people might not have notice before. it's like his movements are the music coming to life. he's the kind of dancer i aspire to be
his footwork in this video is... absolutely insane. he is truly an alien when it comes to dance and i mean that in the best way possible.

wow...I've always known he was talented, but this is my new favorite piece from him. I love his ability to make his choreo so smooth and loose that it almost looms like its freestyle.
Ian is so unique, we know it's him even if he is painted in blue.. awesome video, as always.

when ever I dance to a song more then once it is never the same way twice constantly evolving to meet the music searching for the way it was meant to be danced to by me. but it always keeps changing only if there was a song to embodie the nature of music evolving all in one go for to make a dance that evolves with it

i know what you mean the thing is that ian is used to dancing to songs with words... as a dancer, its really hard sometimes to tell a story with your face when there are no words for it... i think its just something that hes not used to bc ballet and other classical dancers have trouble with music with words..lol. funny how that works.. regardless i think that this is some of his most inspiring work :)
