Sorry but there is no excuse to re-release a 17 years old figure without updating the body. That Hannibal Lecter figure is just an insult to collectors.
Completely understand why it has been such a let down to collectors. Like I said I wish they made it an ultimate figure as we all hoped for! But I still think it’s a cool release. But I hope it doesn’t go down the road of a lot of old school stuff being re used!
@@ARealHorrorShow Didn't they do the same with the John Kramer figure? A nearly twenty year old headsculpt.
They should’ve had made articulation on that figure. He could do more than just stand there. Hell, you could use the Hannibal lector heads on the Neca terminator figures of the t1000 and the t800.
I’ve just done a comparison and I’m pretty sure that they’ve done a new head sculpt for John Kramer - but I’m surprised actually at how good the old cult classics one is, still holds up!
Thir13en Ghosts figures would be pretty cool.
I hope Super7 makes Damien Thorn and Rosemary's baby figures in their ReAction line

I wish NECA did a Re Release Cult Classics Sam from Trick ‘r Treat! Cause, I never have that in my Collection and I still Love ❤️ My Ultimate Trick ‘r Treat Sam Figure and Retro Cloth Trick ‘r Treat Sam Figure Too!
I love the figure but the newer ultimate and retro cloth ones are miles better!
Of all the figures you reviewed, believe it or not, the only one that I am going to add to my collection is the Jessica Fletcher figure. I agree with you, it is completely out of left field, but I personally like "odd" pieces in my collection. Do you know when it is planned on being released? Thanks for the great videos!
I love the more odd releases too, it's always great to get a surprise and more important, something different! She's scheduled for an October release! Appreciate you watching the vids!

Been waiting over 20 years for a damn Leprechaun and Fisherman figure, why can’t Neca ever release those. So many repeat figures every year it’s time to give these 2 90s classics some due.

I got into collecting Neca figures late in life so missed out on a lot of the older ones.
The quality of the figures they make now in terms of sculpts and paint work are miles better anyway!

Im hoping neca brings back the Frank The Rabbit figure! It was my personal favorite of the cult classics next to the Hannibal lecter!

We need Neca to make Norman Bates and Buffallo Bill, and why couldn't they just reuse a few peices to make Hanniball Lecter articulated?

Such a fantastic lineup, the Chainsaw hand is definitely on the top of my list, and definitely need that video on Rob Zombie’s Halloween movies! 🤘🏻

I love rob zombie halloweens haha but to each their own. The first is amazing. The 2nd not as good but still liked it.

my only issue with the prop chainsaw hand is that giant ugly sound vent on the front of it when they should have used the gas vent on the side
If that 2 pack is what you think it might be will definitely pick it up. I actually like the lecter figure, i might get that one as well.

I'm still a bit hesitant on Pumpkinhead, mainly due how expensive it's to import figures to Mexico. However I'm willing to pay the higher fees to get the Howling's werewolf figure
The howling werewolf figure is one that I missed it mentioning but looks terrific! Depending on where you live in Mexico there are stores that sell collectibles. I found a few stores earlier this year in Monterrey

There’s probably some stores that sell NECA figures in Mexico City but when I visited I was never on the look out for collectible stores! Would definitely be worth looking into though since you’re not too far away!
Oh, I did see some NECA products in Friki Plaza in Mexico City.. but you have to be super careful because there’s a lot of bootlegs too!
Some great figures. Love the Evil Dead franchise, good to see it get some love. Yeah, Bruce's likeness isn't that easy to replicate, although Diamond Select did a really good job on one of it's smaller Army of Darkness figures.
It comes with a small base that you can peg him on. The base is the graveyard scene, with skeleton hands coming out of the ground. It looks great for a 7 inch figure.
When I get figures, the main thing for me is the likeness. Doesn't have to be perfect, but there should definitely be a strong resemblance to the character. Other than that, size is not a issue.
On another topic. The Bride of Frankenstein figure, with the chair, will be delayed until July. Stuff like this happens. Hopefully, we won't get any more delays. Keep up the good work. Your channel rocks!!
It’s the Diamond Select Ash you’re referring to the Army of Darkness statue that they made? That’s a really cool piece! And I’m extremely excited to see what PCS comes out with when it comes to that design!

I think what bothers me from the Hannibal statue is the idea of NECA re-releasing an old statue to fill a requirement (possibly to keep the license) and then abstain from doing anything else with the property for years by a potential fear of losing money in a new mold. Honestly it would've made more sense to do this with the gurney Hannibal, since that has a motive for not having articulation
I agree that they should have done the gurney Hannibal and see how it went but I feel like no matter what, and even if there was a fear of it not selling well, a figure of Lecter was always going to be a hit amongst Horror fans

Reading people talk about the Hannibal figure is interesting because no one seems to be able to agree which one they want as an Ultimate so maybe this was better lol. Either way, no one from Neca is coming into your homes and forcing you to buy the Hannibal figure... don't want it? Don't buy it. People are mad because they used an Ultimate style box for a not Ultimate figure, it's not Neca's fault they got their hopes up for a tease image of a box lol.
And I’m here just hoping we get Lecter with the iconic mask 😂

Neca should make more army of darkness figures of ash Williams since they did well with evil dead 1 and 2. And since they did Kurt Russell in the thing, they should do big trouble in little china and escape from New York again only this time in the 7 inch scale.
Figures from Big Trouble in Little China would be a dream! Their retro cloth Snake Plissken is amazing, so I agree, an ultimate one too!

Syndicate has done a great job with Pumpkinhead though! And it looks to be very much in the style of the NECA ultimates especially in box art and packaging
PCS is super expensive. I decided to throw that amount of money down on a 1996 Life size crypt keeper and Never regretted it even though I desperately wanted the Ghost face from PCS. Oh well.

Neca should make more beetlejuice figures in the 7 inch scale with articulation in the arms and legs. I hope Sdcc 2024 shows us that. Same with evil dead also from Neca. Give us ash Williams good and bad from Army of darkness please.
I don’t think we’ll be getting any Army of Darkness figures any time soon from NECA but hopefully they plan on doing it down the line! I’m also hoping for more Beetlejuice announcements!

On the audio commentary for the original Scream movie. Wes Craven said that the killer wiping of his knife was not planned or in the script. The stuntman in the custom did it on his own when they filmed the scene. Wes Craven liked it so he left it in the movie.
Yeas in the Scream movies they are stuntman in that custom 99.9 % of the time. Because it only made sense considering the fact that they where going to be in fight scenes. Along with having things thrown at them an being hit with things. So why risk the real actors an actress in those scenes where you don't even see their face. So it made an makes perfect sense all around.
Like for example on the audio commentary for Scream 2. One person said that the killers in the custom bumping into things and running an into things an falling was not always in the script. Because one stuntman told them you can't see shit with that mask on. It basically gave the person tunnel vision if it was not directly in front of them they could not see it. So in the original Scream movies when the killer ran into something or bumped into something or fall. It was a good chance it was a 100% real accident that was not planned but they kept it in the movie.
Ghost face uses a Buck 120 🔪 knife. Same knife on the Friday the 13th part 8 poster 😊😊😊😊

Over priced in my opinion simply can't afford to pay £150 for just one figure simply don't earn enough i would have to Rob a bank to afford it or not pay any rent which im never going to do
you don't think that NECA ash is just a bloodied up re release of part 1? i'll be pleasantly surprised if not but either way it's cool. the pumpkin head is nice but the paint looks a little lame compared to the old mcfarlane even. btw the way jessica fletcher? that's basically NECA shitting in a box and selling it.
I’m 100% certain, mainly because that is a completely new head sculpt altogether. So we’re definitely getting a new ED1 Ash! And Jessica Fletcher is amazing!
