That John Carver figure look SICK. It's obvious they just reused the Michael Myers body but something makes me smile seeing someone running around in a pilgrim hat scaring people. ( And in Thanksgiving, John Carver is instantly iconic. Just a menacing, bloodthirsty killer with plenty of cheekiness added to him.)
He does look really cool!! I think his torso piece has a few small differences from the Myers figures, but I guess there's only so many differences between coveralls, very excited to see the film!
In my opinion, the best thing in "The Thing" is the correction of a fatal error in the first design.
Lack of brightness in the eyes.
Carpenter explained that this was how you could determine who had been impersonated.
The creature lacked a human shine in its eyes.
I remember going to Blockbuster on Fridays after school and walking straight to the horror section. I always wanted to watch Motel Hell because the VHS cover looked so cool. It was always out of stock (probably because someone never returned it). I made it my mission to buy it on dvd when I started collecting movies as an adult. That was about 17 years ago. I still have it.
The first time I ever saw The Shining was when I rented it from Blockbuster many years ago, good times!
The one thing coming from TOTS that you missed that I'm probably most excited for is the 5 inch scale Goosebumps line, that gets me straight in the nostalgia.
I have seen those despite not including them in this video! They look great and also hit me with the nostalgia feels too!

A great watch…a few collectibles I had no idea were coming. The yantoys Shaun of the dead figures look fantastic. So much to look forward to in 2024!!

I left that out as the figure was announced nearly a year ago! But for an update, that will be releasing at the end of 2024! So, another year yet anyway!
The Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee is amazing. Captured probably one of the best scenes in movie cinema. The neca Creature from the black lagoon is great. But neca has horribly neglected the howling. And I think they should redo phantasm and resident evil 😈
I'm a big fan of the Hammer Horror stuff releasing next year! Syndicate Collectibles have some Howling on the way, we'll just have to wait and see if it's figures or a statue, exciting news either way! I second the Resident Evil!
Id love them to do a 1:6 scale figure of The Man Who Laughs. Hes such a creepy looking dude, with loads of expression. The character that gave them the idea for The Joker.
I imagine if anyone was to make it, Kaustic Plastik would be the ones!

Great video ! I will be getting Evil Dead items and Texas Chainsaws. Hatchet would be a good figure. I went to Michigan State University , so Evil Dead is huge around here..noting the sweatshirt the girl wears in the 2 movies .
I did an interview with the ladies from The Evil Dead not long ago, both absolutely lovely people! If you didn't know already, NECA made a Hatchet figure in recent years!

I would love to see tots in the 1:6 scale tackle a nightmare on elm street figures, and Friday the 13th figures. I would love to have a fred Krueger from the first film, with the long arms, and tear away skull face, also a part 4 Jason Voorhees!!! Great review!!
I would be surprised if that's something they didn't do in the future but I'm sure that they will! A Freddy Krueger 1/6 figure is something that's leaving a gap in my collection!

I like that PCS TCM remake figure, but I really want NECA to make an ultimate version of him, I admit I am biased towards NECA but the rest of the companies are great too. I agree, I dont prefer realistic hair majority of the time. Probably going to have to get that Vincent Price fugure. The Megan figure looks really well made. Looking forward to another good year of horror figures.
I'm sure that NECA will get around to it eventually! I'm glad I'm not the only one in regards to realistic hair, if it's not done well it just ruins the piece for me!
The original Michael Myers suit from 1978 was a Sears Work'n Leisure Spruce Green Coveralls. For that money like you said the large scale model should have been more detail in everyway. Great review!
I thought they were spruce green! Thank you for confirming! The statue really could be so much better, it's disappointing to see the lack of care gone into it especially with such a high cost!
Nice roundup - thanks! The Kaustic figures are amazing, but also amazingly expensive. That said, if anyone releases a red Vincent Price Prospero from Masque of the Red Death, I'm buying it.
A custom figure of that was actually made by Distinctive Dummies 😉 may be worth scouring the internet for one!
I know it’s a very slim chance, but I would love to see a neca creeper and Uber Jason in the near future. Might not happen due to controversy and legal battles, but one can only wish lol.
I also really hope that NECA continue with the Friday the 13th line in the near future!
@@ARealHorrorShow really hope we get another Pamela voorhees and young jason 2 pk. Or even just a young Jason. I missed out on the SDCC exclusive a few years back and now it sells for a ridiculous amount on the after market.
I think they should consider doing another two pack like that as well! Maybe even for the ultimate figure line!

There's some great figures coming out next year, I'm going to try to get the Tarman figure, and would love someone to do another Darkman figure.
The Tarman is a really nice release, it would look extra cool too with that diorama!
Great video. It seem like there's a lot to get excited about!! I'm loving that Hammer Horror is getting shown some love, I'm a big fan of hammer Horror, from Dracula, Frankenstein, you name it. The figures from Kaustic Plastic look awesome! Especially, that diorama!! The NECA figure of Christopher Lee looks awesome as well. I got a Scars of Dracula figure from Stars Ace. The likeness is really good, but the two head sculpts are the same, with his mouth open showing his fangs. It's nice to get a different head sculpt with his mouth closed. From what I heard in an interview from NECA is, they will consider doing more Hammer Horror figures depending on how well their Dracula figure sells.
Here's hoping they sell a lot!! I'd love to see Peter Cushing as Van Helsing and Dr. Frankenstein, Christopher Lee as Frankenstein's Monster and The Mummy, maybe even Oliver Reed's portrayal in Curse of the Werewolf. I think that they'd have a lot of options to work with. Great video, keep up the good work!!!
I'm sure that the Dracula figure from NECA will sell really well, I know quite a lot of people are hyped for it! I'm definitely going to look into getting hold of that diorama because I think it looks absolutely stunning! (Even despite its inaccuracies to what we see in the film!) I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Please give us a Sideshow Henrietta 1/6 scale action figure that’s definitely on my wishlist. Can you imagine the detail in the rotten and decomposed skin and flesh. 😮🔥🧟♀️

I didn’t know about the scream greats myers until the guy I follow on Instagram posted a short about him doing a nice custom on it, like the hair, repaints, hands. I guess I’m late but man does it look good when I seen it there and here. But slightly better with real hair. Also that exorcist regan looks hella good too. I kinda see why they made it 35$ all the emphasis is on the looks themselves and just sculpt. I don’t mind that either
They've done a great job with the Myers figure and it's great to finally see another action figure of Myers as he appears in the original 1978 film!

NECA would definitely bring us something spectacular, I really wish they would start doing 78 Myers figures again!

This new statue looks really solid! They did two great 1974 Leatherface statues that were released earlier this year too. The only thing with them is that the hair needs some styling work on arrival

Not many people know that the Michael Myers mask is a Captain Kirk mask from Star Trek , and it’s supposed to look like William Shatner , to me it didn’t look like him but that’s the rumor. So what I’m getting at is the hair should be as short as the hair on Captain Kirk’s hair in Star Trek.

That’s right, it was a 1975 Don Post studios Captain Kirk mask that Tommy Lee Wallace purchased at a fancy dress store on Hollywood Blvd before converting it into Michael Myers. It’s a shame a lot of these companies can’t get the hair right

I'm pretty sure NECA made a 3 foot tall Freddy Fazbear figure a few years back!
I got the tots 78 Myers its ok but not perfect body looks to skinny hair is really bad no horns & there is a gape at the back which looks ridiculous mask looks quite good but there is a strange seem line looks like only neca can make good Myers figs hope we get all the movie versions from them
I'm not a fan of that Myers figure myself for the same reasons which 8# why I never picked him up! The Dr Loomis on the other hand looks fantastic and that releases this week!
