It depends on which acrylic you get. They have the speed white and speed clear included in the set and it does set fast also depending on the temperature of the location. I tried to use the speed white in house that was about 90° and set super fast
I used to have a gel set like this that I got on Amazon. I want to go look in my drawer today and I seen that it was spilled everywhere. I now have to buy a new set so I think I’m a try out acrylic this time. Question tho.. were your nails sticky after taking it out of the UV light? Mine would get sticky after I will take it out of the light but with the gel kit and I would have to wipe it off.
Oh no! That's the worst feeling! If its sticky its because it's not dry yet. That happened to me today while I was doing my nails. You just have to leave it under the light for more time
Hello! With Gel polish, after the nail is cured, it is normal to have a tacky layer. Companies sell a liquid cleanser that can be swiped with a nail wipe over the nails to remove the tackiness. Young nails sell theirs and it’s called “Maniq Cleanser”. Hope this helps!
Core doesn't dry down as fast, but it also has to do with the temperature in the room. If you're in a humid or hot room, it will dry down faster, not as fast as the speed but it will dry down fast.

Yes!! Definitely suggest the bf to not be there! Lol I actually went on Walmart and bought a cheap 20 buck one 😅 it lasted, but fyi it will take forever to file down bulky applications lol I used to spend hours filing down with that cheapy e-file lol
i ordered my kit, the only thing is that a bottle of nail liquid was halfway spilled 😭😭 kinda messed up some of my files. i just hope they atleast replace the bottle for me cuz it was expensive 😪
I'm trying to decide between yn and valentino. Have you tried that? Right now I use glam and glits and mia secret monomer. I'm not having any problems but I feel theres better out there

But, its because Valentino is a bit more expensive lol 😅 even with discount codes lol and mia secrets is a great starter! 👌YN is going to have a Christmas sale, if you're thinking of getting something, I recommend waiting for that! 😁 And yessssss, the pana brand drill bit is my favorite drill bits and they're inexpensive!

I only use it now when I'm practicing on my nail practice hand lol the yn smells, but not as much! If you do buy the Valentino, let me know how it is! 😁
Just keep practicing! If you can get a nail practice hand, that will also help so you can know how it's like to do it on someone else other than yourself. I've been doing it for over a year (on my own) and I still haven't gotten it down lol but just make sure you do it toue own way also

I’ve been trying to apply the acrylic to the nails but it’s not working. Picking up the beads I’ve been doing pretty well with it’s the actually application part I’m having trouble with and keeping the extension nails on the practice hand. 😤
Are you building up the nail with a form? Or is your bead going all over the place? If it's your bead, it has too much liquid. If it's the form, you have to build it from the point the nail and form meet

Any monomer has a strong scent, but this one is not as bad! I've only used the mia secret and this one, and the mia secret one is super strong compared to the YN one

Your dragging the brush in the monomer on both sides and dragging the brush in the acrylic which the instructor says to not to do in yn nail school
