Hi, I noticed at the 5:27 mark you said, "not really for photo printing". Are you saying that this printer is not a good choice for quality photo prints? I need to replace my Pixma iP4700, a 5-cartridge (2 blacks) printer which has been an excellent photo printer. Would the G6020 be a downgrade in that regard? Thanks, Norm
If you are looking specifically for good photo quality I would suggest going with Epson.

hi! I was wondering if you had any tips for fixing super slow printing. every time I try color prints, it goes one line at a time and pauses for at least 30 seconds before moving on.

I want to use this printer for edible printing. can i use regular printer heads or are there specific type of print heads for that?
Its the same printhead but you need edible ink and you would need to convert your printer by removing all regular ink.

I had the Epson 7750 eco tank but i had so many issues,i replace it 4 times !! Now im looking to something more simple but similar ink style,i'm looking at the Canon G5050 (as i don't need scanner and copy),i want it to be smaller.
Is the G5050 same technology/printing quality as this one without the extras?

Nobody has a clear fix on 5b00 sponge pad full or code reset. What's not mentioned is after so many cleansing, the pads need to replaced and code reset. Canon is saying not user replaceable/service or buy a new printer

Exactly the same with mine. It went straight back. Definitely a printer to avoid and the small, unlit, display screen is practically unreadable. Not worth the money.

Does this printer have a tray for photo paper and letter paper? I do not want a printer that I have to remove one size and replace it with the other size.
You have to put photo paper in the back part that comes out that’s the top loading area

Best printer to use that will sit idle for awhile but then still able to print
Is there ink already in the cartridges? I'm wondering cause I'm hoping to use it for tattoo stencils. I know you can put tattoo stencil ink in an Epson ecotank, but maybe it wouldn't work here? If anyone could give advice it's greatly appreciated!
No there’s no ink when it’s brand new
Epson Ecotank ET-M1120 that’s the best printer for tattoo stencils check it out online it’s about $180

There is no way to reset the ink level.
You said not a photo printer but it says it prints photos. Curious why you said that. Is the photo quality bad?
I just got this photo quality is not bad but I guess if you’re like a professional photographer then maybe get a photo printer but for me it works since either way my good photos I print at Costco lol but it’s good.

It depends on which Epson Ecotank model you are referring to. I would say this Canon Megatank does really well compared to the higher end Epson Ecotanks.
Nah, Epson introduce since 2015 and they doing well I say Ink-Tank stick to Epson but for lasjet or monochrosome printer can be any.

I followed the instructions for filling the ink reservoirs. When I turn the printer on, I am getting the error signal.
Thanks within 3 min you showed me where the Ink B n C were supposed to go. DUH. I tried to figure out how to open the sides where the filling tanks are. This was not so well described in the booklet, but with a closer deciphering of the photos I can see the ribbon, so then Yes it makes sense. I didn't plug it in before I started to put the cartridge heads in...I was reading and going by the booklet it shipped with the printer. Ok, from the Reviews I read, this is a pretty good Photo Printer. So. you did say this is "not a Photo Printer"....I may be boxing it back up. Will watch more of your Videos on this Canon Pixma 6020 to see if the Photos are worthy or not.

I used to use an Epson ET-2550 th-cam.com/users/postUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 , an early model of the ink tank style. It worked well, but had one nuisance that drove me up the wall; if you didn't put it in high quality print mode you'd get a streak across the page. I'm happy to say I have yet to see this with this printer. The print quality has been fantastic so far, the set up was super easy. All in all I'm very happy with this printer.

Ink is cheap and the printer will last

Useless printer, only connects wirelessly, cannot connect with cable. Very glitchy and drops off from network. Startup can take 30mins. Also colour now printing pink instead of orange
