I typically power off my printer after each use, and wondered if it takes much time to power on and print, if you do the same.
After getting past the ENGLISH part, I was stumped on going wirelessly. I gave up on the online stuff and went to the printed document that was enclosed and following the steps from A to ... , I hooked up with the USB cable. Still couldn't figure out wireless connection. Finally went to TH-cam (which I should have done in the first place to watch you.) Nice to have the CD since laptops no longer come equipped with them. Anyway, wish I had walked you first--would have saved about an hour of time. Only wish the video I watched to go wirelessly was done in easier to understand English.
Hi Tina, thank you for the instructions; perhaps you can help me with my main problem: Paper jam or, no paper in the rear tray. I have never intended to use the rear tray yet, but still having paper enough in the front tray, the printer does not print until paper is in rear try slot. How can I skip this? Thanks!

How do you turn off “Double-sided” printing? The toggle is set to OFF but it does both sides anyway. Prints from my iPhone just fine. But the iMac, not good. Thanks!

You should have explained what the other buttons on the printer are for to cover everything. I bought the G6020 but took it back without opening the box for I thought it would to complicated to set up. Once you pour the ink in how can you take it back for a refund. I viewed another video and on how to clean the printheads seems to complex for me so I bought a regular printer that takes 2 cartridges and no cleaning instructions. Just wipe the cartridges with a moist cloth even though they don't last long less hassle.
Does the printer really need the print head ? Or can función with out ? I bought and bought the edible ink , but does not work with the out the print head , but I can get any edible print head , I open the print head, print head has filled with non edible ink so I can’t put that in the printer, am desperate to get the print head edible or something that can make that printer function.
Set mine up today and got snookered in the same spot. I also found the wireless connect to be a real pain. Having to arrow through the alphabet to put in my password was really dumb.
I watched just long enough to see that the rear paper tray was already in place when we got the printer. We just had to replace it because one of our cats broke it. I can’t find anything about how to put in a replacement. Is my best bet calling Canon, or Amazon, the seller?
not worth 10 dollars, ink pads get full and printer wont work, you can clean them but the printer still wont work, its designed to fail so they keep you buying more printers

I leave mine on all the time. I feel like it really doesn’t use much power when not in use. Thanks for watching!

Great overview. You said the tray in the back prints "thick paper." I know that would cover photo paper but what about cardstock or label paper? TIA

I’ve never tried it but I did order magnetic backed paper to print on through Canon today. I’ll see how that goes!

What is the highest weight of card-stock it can take? Im really going crazy looking for a printer that prints on heavy cardstock 😢
Up to 53 lbs. it’s really difficult to find a reasonably priced printer that can print on card stock. This was the best in my budget.
Are the print heads empty that it came with. I want to convert it?
I’m not sure what that means? I believe they don’t have ink in them.

Yes the set up process is a pain for sure, but I do love the printer.
