Yep, my Mom died at only 49 years old from ovarian cancer. The doctor said that if they didn't call her with the test results then it meant that it was just scar tissue from her partial hysterictomy. The doctor nor any of the nurses ever saw her test results until she returned 3 months later with more problems. The results got lost in a file that they found when she returned and it said, ovarian cancer. By that time the tumor had tripled in size to involve her decending colon and lower intestines. She passed a year and a half later after fighting the good fight.
Anyway, nope, I never trust if they say not to worry if not called and I also make sure I call to get test results and have them sent to me in the mail as well. Always! About anything. You have to be your own health advocate.

I’m worried for this lady. First Miss Carla does a beautiful job with these lovely ladies. But Areata Alopecia isn’t common and doesn’t appear like some of these ladies including Jada Pinkett Smith.
Every time Miss C explains to this particular client how it’s going to work, she still wants what she wants regardless, like blonde on damaged hair.
We (ladies) kill our follicles and cause traumatic alopecia, which is a lot easier to come to grips with. If you can say "I have a medical condition or it’s genetic", it’s easy than to admit to yourself, that you alone caused your hair to fall out because that’s a gigantic pill to swallow.
That hairstyle is so glamorous! I kept thinking she reminded me of a celebrity but couldn't come up with who until it finally clicked. Dionne Warwick!! The short sides and heavy fall of hair across the front (her awesome eyelashes totally work too) really echo that look. It's a classic ❤❤❤❤❤

I wish I had a lot earlier. I was going to a dermatologist. He was treating the symptom. Not the problem. The very treatment for the symptom was making the problem even worse and jeopardized my health to the point I went on the liver transplant list. Now that im getting the right treatment, I feel so much better.

This was by far my favorite of hairstyles 1). It was to keep her natural hair healthy without glue and chemicals 2). She looks absolutely stunning because the hairstyle was designed around her face and head, which many stylists forget to pay attention to, rather than just do a hairstyle that would not compliment them. However, I understand giving the client what they want. I think you outdid yourself on this one. AMAZING!!!!!

You shouldn't braid her hair too tightly. I can definitely see some hair growth in the areas where she has hair. Drinking a lot of water helps. Women go through a lot during the menopause years. She will be ok. Still beautiful. She has you on her side so she will be fine.

Bless this lady. Hair loss is so traumatizing for women as hair is such a big part of our identity and how we feel about ourselves. My heart really goes out to her. I have pretty fine hair that has been suffering a lot now I am at menopause age and I have found that BIOTIN supplements have been really helpful for me. I wonder if they may help this lady with the health and thickness of her own hair. I have CCCA, a type of scarring alopecia. Where the scalp is smooth to the touch, hair will not grow back. If it bothers those who also have scarring alopecia you can try scalp micro pigmentation (smp) or the most expensive fix- hair transplantation. I tried smp. The dermatologist did a test patch back in 2018 and it's still there. On the day of my appointment to get the rest done, someone else in the clinic did it and it washed out. $1100 down the drain. I wear a wig everyday now. The hair style on the client is nice.
