Yeah I am a bit bummed about it as I'm not 100% sure exactly what's going on as it's due to conflict about the direction the game is going in and opposing opinions about the lead developer's vision about the game. However, the demo will not be removed which I am grateful for and I'll be staying on as Wing as I'm really proud of this role and what I achieved with this game. Also 2 of my friends have voiced roaming dragons in the game. Hope you enjoyed the demo and your Vtuber model looks really cool.
@Kessedrian Thing is, while the team had some issues and was in a bit of disarray, there are still plenty of members that haven't quit and are still working alongside Valefor. I'd say the biggest concern would be how much was dropped due to several members leaving? I remember talking with Valefor himself, as well as someone else on the team, and they said that several characters in the demo may not appear in the full game or won't have anything expanded upon them since they were created by the people who left, such as Chara the blacksmith dragon
@@masonstewart6232 I'll miss Chara but we still have best girl Zerellia! I also had thought that 1H left but he still seems to be hanging around the Discord too. I'm not totally sure who is and isn't still on the dev team at this point.
I am quite concerned about this, too. The demo was incredibly promising, and I was genuinely excited. The gameplay is very much what Legend of Spyro should have been in my opinion, and I love the humor; including the obvious reference to Sly Cooper. That really sucks, and I'm not sure there's any use in going into their Discord now. Is there? Is anyone else here in their Discord server, too? How is it faring?
The Discord is still very active and the situation with the game isn't nearly as dire as Valefor made it sound in the news post. Some people had to leave due to other RL obligations, but the team didn't entirely disband after all. Drop on in and have some dragonfruit with us!
1-man rebuild in Unreal 5 - does not sound like a good sign for seeing a full game anytime soon, if ever
It looks like UE5 does have built in conversion tools so maybe it won't be an overwhelming amount of work.

Hey, just checked with the discord. The project isn't canelled. Just the kickstarter. The game is still very much in development
Yup I said as much in the video. The kickstarter was cancelled but Valefor hasn't given up on the game. Glyde isn't going to call it quits so easily.
