- Mom has been getting worse so its definitely harder in the mornings and it takes longer to get ready but were doing it!! She still has her happy radiating smile and attitude that make me forget about the bad and cherish the good

I have raised 5 boys, was not lucky enough to have any girls, but if I had a girl I would want her to be just like you. You are such a great daughter!!!
Maybe a comfy bedside chair that is a little lower than the bed would help to secure Cindy for dressing and shoes. I love to see the loving dedication among you and your whole family ❤ Keep the faith. You are doing a wonderful job 😊

My heart breaks for her and you. What a tragedy that this horrible disease has stolen your mother from you. You are such a wonderful daughter. You do such a great job taking care of your mother. I pray God sends you the needed patience and love you need to get through each day.

Kiley your a wonderful daughter a lot of people would not do the things you do I was that way with my Mother I refused to put her in a home when she was dying with breast cancer I took care of her until she passed

You are doing an excellent job in looking after your mother. I wish I could have been doing the same thing for my mother who is now with God and is suffering no more . I miss her everyday and wish to see her and to hear her sweet voice whenever she would call me..I love in Michigan and she was in Oregon in the hospital being well taken care of. She had chronic kidney disease and a diabetic with beginning stages of dementia (she was farther along than what they said she was). In working with patients who had dementia with my mother and both of us were CNA’s I could tell that she didn’t have much time left with kidney disease . God bless you both ….

What has been the progression of your mom’s dementia? You are really doing a wonderful job !!! Do not hurt your back , you may want to get a gait belt and a back support for yourself .

Ma'am You are my HERO. YOU have taken on a job that most people would run. To me you enjoy the Interact that you and you Mom go through, and I love you are my HERO, and just that's only TWO Hero's that I have in my life. I have many that I love, but Hero's It's only Two. Thank you Lord!

The Key to dealing with someone with dementia is patience and you have that. Although MY MIL dementia is not as advanced her son and daughter in law get very frustrated with her and they shouldn't

She calls her mom most of the time but when mom is being so cute she calls her Cindy 😅❤
It also helps to keep from frustrating Cindy. Or making her feel sad/guilty. Forgetting hurts and causes guilt.
To help prevent frustration.
It helps on her list attention too.

Cindy is 63 or 64 years old. She was diagnosed in 2017.

I find videos like this helpful. It’s reality and what many families deal with. I’m a 24/7 caregiver for my adult disabled daughter and it helps to see how other caregivers manage difficult situations. From what I see, there are alot of people that find these videos very helpful and encouraging. ❤️🙏🏼 Also, I agree, a chair next to the bed might help in getting her dressed.
