I had stopped watching alot of youtube. The last time I was on here I talked about my dad and Chonny replied so I'm giving a update..he passed away sadly last year near around this time. Was in a spiral of depression but finally recovered and have been watching the videos from then to now to keep up! I will always love watching you two having fun!

Pellegrinis has a special place in every melbournians heart…Sisto Malaspina was one of the people stabbed and killed back in 2018 in bourke st during the horrible stabbing rampage. He was the glue, the lifeblood, the heart and soul of Pellegrinis. You’d walk in and he’d greet you like an old friend. He was so special and so loved. Pellegrinis will always have a special place in all our hearts ❤️

I noticed in this one the Italian restaurant had mirrors and it was interesting to see how you actually film your videos from holding the camera to zooming in on the delicious looking dishes. You both are so natural and vibrant and don’t ever fake it for the camera. It’s genuine and that’s what I love about y’all. Keep living your best life. You’ve made my week!

the one thing i learned from eating at a lot of restaurants is not all the time the more expensive it is the better it is as even a cheap food can taste a lot better and make you feel better cause your not spending high amount as well. So be aware of these things kids.
So as an FYI, eating Italian isn't done like eating asian noodles. There's no slurping or sucking long strands into your mouth. They give you a spoon to twirl a small amount of spaghetti into a small ball shape on your fork and you then eat it. And that wasn't very good pasta. The pasta needed to be finished in the pan cooked with the gravy not put over the top where it all fell to the bottom of the bowl.
That didn’t look like the best Italian food I’ve ever seen. I’m Italian American and I’m with you I smother my pasta with meat sauce with a lot of meat. I went to Italy this year and they do not eat it like that at all. Spaghetti and meatballs is not a thing there. Spaghetti or any pasta can be one course and meatballs or another meat can be another is how they do it. They eat a lot of food they have many courses in one meal. It’s a beautiful country you should go visit when you’re traveling again. I wish I could cook a lasagna for you I’m sure you would love it. 😉🇮🇹 One thing I noticed about Italy is their food is not very expensive. You can find the best pizza you’ve ever had in Naples for $5 USD a large one. I’m watching all the commercials so hopefully you can travel soon. I even enjoyed when you cooked at home during Covid. Those were very funny videos. 💕
Pellegrini's is a Melbourne institution (RIP Sisto), it's been around forever. Yes, you can get much better pastas elsewhere in Melbourne, but on a Friday night after a few beers at the pub, that Lasagne is always the best Lasagne you've ever had, LOL. There would be outrage here if they ever decided to remodel!
@@Dsggh523 if you’ve ever been to this restaurant you’d know it’s not, you can see right into the kitchen where they have pots and pans bubbling away and fresh pasta constantly boiling on the stove. They have a dining table in the kitchen and you can watch the little Italian lady cooking everything, sometimes she’ll chat to you too but she’s very busy mostly.

I'd always go for a garlic/oil non tomato based sauce with marinara + prefer fettucine or linguine pasta. The lasagne looked good though.
