Extremely clear commentary and video. Allowed me to replace my mirror for $40 plus an hour's time, compared to $700 or so at the dealer. One comment: after installing the mirror, the comment "make sure the wire goes behind the window track" was not clear or helpful---I had to jiggle the wire and tape it in place to stop it interfering with the window.
I paid $44 bucks for mine (including shipping and taxes), and it arrived in 3 days. I didn't use a trim tool. I just removed the panels with my hands after unscrewing and I managed to replace the mirror. The window had trouble going all the way down for a bit and then eventually it corrected itself. Also, the plastic cap notches broke and I couldn't get it back over the mirror bolts again. Thanks for the video.

Great instructions and very detailed. Only forgot to mention you will need to buy a new push mount cable tie. The old tie is usually not reusable.

You did not mention if this procedure is the same for the driver side. Is it?
I backed up in the parking garage and bent my mirror. Quoted $600 at the dealer for the part only
