Awesome podcast you guys pretty explained the 40 acres that I hunt to a T and we have made bedding with a 1 acre clover plot and it has been a game changer for us the next is going to be a watering hole!
Heck yeah Eric! We are glad we could get a good description for you! Adding that water source will make it even better! We put in the Grizzly Alpha Trough on one of our new food plots and it has been awesome! We are excited to see how it works when the season comes!
I live in southern Michigan and found the best food plot is beans mixed with corn planted with a grain drill. Deer love it the plants thrive and it holds food for all seasons. Little more expensive to do but cheaper in the long run.
You guys rock! I just bought some of your nocks and scents. I’m excited to use them. I subscribed to the page but I mostly listen on Spotify and also gave you 5 stars there too. I’ll be sending an email with my biggest deer last year.
(Speaking on the waterholes) We haven’t gotten any substantial amount of rain here in wv for the past month. I used a cheap kiddy pool and it’s made a huge difference on deer activity. Next closest water source is about half a mile. Thank you guys for these podcasts. I take something from each one and apply it
Water sources can be a huge game changer! We put in our Grizzly Alpha Trough earlier in the summer at one of our new food plots and it has been awesome to see the deer coming to it! We are glad you are taking tips from each podcast and we hope that they bring you luck this season!
Well guys great work again I just picked up another 40 acres to hunt this year. I'm extremely excited and I'll be using raised scents on this property along with the 60 behind my house love the scents and been getting a ton of pics on scrapes I've made
Thank you David we appreciate it! We hope that new 40 acre piece produces a slammer for you! Glad to hear you are loving the scents and that you have been getting pictures on your scrapes!
Appreciate the family atmosphere, continuous shout outs to those that support you and all the entertaining knowledge and opinions ya'll continue to share.... because i too was Raised Hunting! Season is coming boys!
We appreciate the support on the podcast! We hope the tips we have given will help you punch a tag this season! And you are exactly right...... Season is coming!
Love the show fellas! Checkin in from Dubuque Iowa. Could y'all do a show on Broad heads? Two blade to 3 blade. Expendables to fixed. I am thinking about switching up this season and curious on experiences from all of you.
Thanks for addressing my question! I'm in SW Ohio and the properties surrounding me alwaye rotate beans/corn. Beans this year. I've sent Easton pics on fb Messenger of bucks in those bean fields. Our season opens last Saturday of Sept and ends in February
We can't hunt the Board of Education land. There is some Industrial( factories) land mixed with the education land but they don't allow hunting either, but they let me run cams
Still love the podcast as always was wondering if u guys could do one on trigger panic our season is in September here in Md and I’m having trouble getting on my target I switched to thumb release and tht helped but now I find myself getting below my target and struggling a lot to get back up where I want to shoot and I’m throwing my bow up and letting it fly and really struggling to break it thanks as always
I wanna hear each of y’alls opinion on this. It’s the rut you have no idea what bucks are on the place no trail cameras, where are you setting up? Please be detailed. Pinch point, water, food source what do you look for and why? Do you sit all day, day after day in that spot or are you bouncing around? Enjoying the podcast! Hope yall keep growing.
Love the podcast and all of the content y’all put out. I have a question I’d love to hear on the podcast or just have y’all’s opinion on it. I live in Southeast Arkansas and we are having an early archery season buck hunt (Velvet hunt) I’d love to hear y’all’s advice for trying to kill a mature buck in early season. I have 2 properties I hunt, one property is a little over 80 acres of mostly timber and I have minerals out and a food plot in the middle of the property. I have 1 really good mature buck on that property and he was daylighting in the morning a lot during July but now he is coming in around 3-4 am. My 2nd property I hunt is a lease on the Arkansas river, my stand location is right by the river with a food plot and minerals out. I have several mature deer at this location that daylight pretty regular in the late afternoon. I’d just to hear y’all’s opinion on what y’all would do in this situation.
Another great episode!
Great vids. Gonna try alfalfa next year bc of this. 0 alfalfa around me so should be a great opportunity
Heck yeah Colton! We will be excited to hear how that goes next season!
