I have almost lived in handsworth Birmingham for about a year now it really isn't that bad at all its just like any were as long as you keep yourself too yourself your be alright its when people try and act the big man then thats what normally starts it all of but other then that Birmingham is a good place just don't look for trouble and it wont find you thats really about Birmingham
Luckily for me i be moveing in about 2 mouths time too Sutton coldfiled the posh part of Birmingham in the well too do area and its much more cleaner and no mess everywhere and no homless or beggars its a lot more different too handsworth
Used to attend the Technical College once a week between 1978 and 1980 for my apprenticeship. Fantastic place back then, was always a mix of cultures. Occasional lunchtime beer in the pub opposite the college, think it was the Frighted or Flying Horse but might be wrong. Also before I could drive used to have to walk all the way up the Soho Road and across to Crocketts Lane on the evening for football training. Sometimes a bit of a worry in the dark but never had any bother. Might be a bit different now but can only speak as I found
I like Handsworth and it's multicultural community. It's not a bad area at all, you have good and bad everywhere. If you look for badness you'll find it.
Firstly you ain't from the ENDS, this approach was all wrong. Why not go out the heritage of handsworth instead of walking into a shop assuming people stole goods. While you sit and edit your videos on an area you know nothing about remember there's children growing up in this reality and some parts of handsworth are beautiful. Some great families, some great food, vibrant at times. Change tour approach. Didnt feel genuine. Disrespectfully asking people for big John's you already knew it, it defo felt biased.
it's funny when you know where all the hotspots are; you went too early though, would like to see that same walk around 8-9pm then there's a good chance there will be some drama 😂
@@Johnnygopro44 haha at your own risk.. don't get me wrong, as someone simply walking along there you'd be fine; but with an obvious camera rolling i think some will take offence at you recording the not so legal goings on - and think, by 8-9pm a few dragon stout and magnums would have been drunk 🙃
@@jayelee7176 yea I know that I had loads of funny looks and a few comments but I had to edit my soho video there was so much going on and it’s been restricted and taken down off TikTok so I uploaded it different might give it a miss though 🤣
Its one of the oldest districts in brum. Now its been left to become a deteriorating inner city area of neglect by a bankrupt Birmingham city council as with areas it has its problems but people are just trying to live as they do everywhere. Good vid mate. Are you VILLA from Erdington or

I totally agree this video made me cringe several times on this guys approach to other people. This guy was a total beg I can’t lie.
