    Love the trampoline card the best! Bothers me that the bananas are in the wrong kind of tree. (Can’t remember if you have a palm-ish tree in your line of the right size.) The background ferns for jungle vegetation is great - because the forms are abstract enough to sub fir same. So loved that hint. Appreciate these scene building tips! Thanks!

    I had forgotten about this set, glad Ranger still had it. Your inks are wonderful, you have great advice in an early video about buying the 3 primary colors in an ink to see if you liked the ink properties, etc. It was great advice and I have passed it on to others.

    I’ve Been Stamping Extra Images in the Sets and Storing Them in the Package So I Can Make a Card Quickly if Need Be…(this would work well with the card idea you showed us today)! Take Care, and Be Safe!

    Thanks for this, Simon. I'm more of a texture girl. Wondering??: I love your large sentiments. Would you ever consider designing a 6x8 sentiment set accompanied by a drop-shadow stencil (for those, like me, who can't seem to free-hand a border when fussy cutting, and don't have dies). Just a thought, since I am inked background crazy, and have never seen a product - essentially a large-sentiment-layering-set- which would allow me to easily fill a 5x7 or 6x6 card front. 😎👏

      Stay with me here for a second...
      If you have a sentiment stamp and use it with the Simon Hurley Stamping foam wouldn't that give you a shadow/background?

    Hello Simon. I really like the way you describe things because I need a lot of detail when I’m learning something new. I can’t however find How much poundage you’re card stock is. I would think when your water coloring you would use watercolor paper. So what thickness is the card stock you use to hold the water so it doesn’t start curling on you? Thanks Eileen

    • @simon.hurley
      @simon.hurley  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Eileen! For everything in this video I used Stark White cardstock. It is 110lb and can take as much water as I used: ldli.co/e/0zrge4
      You can use watercolor paper if you use a ton of water, but the paper above hold up for me. :)
