Tires are gigantic! 😮
Eastern north carolina, pro-line supper swamper g8, the best around here!!!
Also in NC. My cut n shut swampers get delivered tomorrow 🤘
@@Gear_head11 close to greenville nc, lets crawl sometime!!!!
@@CRAZYBUILD349 3 hours away unfortunately. Winston
I’m in north Ga. Lots of dirt and mud here so can’t go wrong with super swampers
I th8mk those would be really good in the south, Midwest and pacific NW. all the muddy cl8matss.
Yep it’s that I’ve of year I was fishing & just about stepped right on one that same size curled up just like that & it didn’t move but being an outdoor person I always look before I step anywhere I live in California so we have a lot of Rattlesnakes & I’ve seen some huge ones right on the trail. 😬
Holly shit man be careful my man
Yuma AZ and for my capra our wraith 2.2 xl rock beast. But same tire but 1.9 on sxc 10
I run Baja pro x on the Honky Wagon in predator when its cooler out and they perform great here in north Texas. Its warming up so will probably switch to Tusks.
Waiting for my baja pro x 2.9s for my scx6 can't wait to see what climbing up aledgeability they have..😆👍
Thanks for sharing
GMADE 1904. These k8t tires are absolutely amazing. Totally underrated . Like 5hose Baja proX, their a cold weather tire .
Central Wisconsin
Can we just get a WDW brand tire already😉 Maybe you should be a tire factory
Good job Dogan 😉
i wont lie i am in love with mickey thompson baja pro x tires and ive only used the stock foams so far just lazy to swap them all over and buy the inserts. but i run those 4.85 predators, i have a set of rc4wd 4.75s in the compound i forget. and im going to also buy the g8 2.2s for my ryft sooner or later😂 i love them for my area i live up in minnesota and i drive on tuns of loose dirt, rocks, sand and of course dirt and mud. so i dont really see the compound making much of a difference but they have performed very well to me and if you let them kind of work they seem to just climb and climb. my sidehills were never great from the stock foams so i do plan to get some and see the difference there they do fold over the rim sometimes😂 but yea super long sorry but i love to talk
Pacific Northwest, proline km3 mud terrain, or if its muddy good ol swampers from proline (only). Trying some pantagonia , they seem ok.
Yessir! I'm in the pnw and tsl work great
The trenchers I have are predictor compound
Syd with the close up😂
It's so cool watching you work this thing , are you running long servo arms . Trying to get my Capra to work like yours
I always wondered about the dog with snakes and animals out there.
I stopped doing the comps because the six-minute time limit takes the fun out of it. There's zero chance of finishing the course until you get REALLY good.
NY state around the Buffalo area. my experience is both g8 and predator compounds work well around here but I seem to get a little more traction with predator regardless of the temperature. like most anywhere though it comes down to preference. someone else from this area might tell you the opposite.
2.2 Rover white dots are the best tire I've ever ran. I've run them on my Capra and currently on my PBX Sporky. North Texas.
I’m really enjoying the vanquish vxt2 tires that came on my stance rtr. They are really hooking up very well on jagged and smooth granite in the cold wet winter on Vancouver Island
👍👍😁
In the area we normally crawl (Montana and lots of pine duff and mossy rocks) we have found that the Baja Clawz, TSL SS xl and the Krawlers work best so far.
Nice 👍
I'm in Western Kentucky, the JConcepts Megalithic in green compound on 24th scale works great. On my Capra, the predator compound works better than g8, almost always all year round.
OK so I'm gonna put my opinion in here, I would get the 2.2 sold by proline that are 5.88in tall, However If you are using these for comps I would get the cut and shut that you make. Maybe if these were a bit cheaper to purchase as in your cut and shuts I would end up getting these, Now if I had money JUST to spend I would get these, Just seems a bit pricey for an average of a Rc'er. But They look good and perform good so good job Logan!
I wonder if this tire is a case where no matter the temp you need Predator compound for rocks. I have friends who just could not get these to work on the Texas rock any time of year. They just seemed stiff and would not conform like other Proline G8s they ran. Yet the Tusk, same tread pattern but softer and shorter lugged, slays lines year round in temps from 30s to 100s.
Jconcepts Tusk green or Pro-Line Hyrax G8 socal desert
These are the exact tires I've been wanting for awhile now for my r2 ill have to order a set
Yeah the tire rub never bothers me ya kinda get used to hearing it now & then. I just converted my Capra to 2.2 wheels I currently have Trenchers on it but I definitely wanna get Cut n Shuts for it.
Snake/critter season for us as well, stay safe out there dude!
As for the tires..I keep trying them on different rigs (predator compound also) as I like how aggressive they look, but always end up swapping them out due to lack of performance. They’re a decent trail truck tire in my area, but not rated (IMO) for the ugly stuff that I prefer to wheel 🤘
Iv gotta remember that lmao
North eastern Oklahoma g8 bfg krawlers! Or j concepts tusk or megalithic
I haven’t watched the video yet. But I just ordered some krawler g8 C&S’s. Haven’t run them yet. If you say these are better, I’m going to be pissed. 😳😂
Krawlers are top shelf for me
What size sl3d inserts are you running
They’re made for these tires
@@westdesertwheeler2666 2.2 Baja pro X, or he’s coming out with ones for cutnshut pro X?
New follower to the channel. You have a build video or build sheet for this rig on insta?
I have a build video here on TH-cam it just has a different paint job
What is a cut in shut?
Really. I’m in eastern ky an they will damn well let you know. It’s when they stop that there dangerous
i dont get it. your cut and shut baja pro x is a 2.2 thats 5.55 inches tall. a regular 2.2 is 5.88 inches tall. i cant possibly see how .3 of an inch could make a difference if anyone would even notice a difference. why would anyone pay more than double the money for a tire thats .3 inches different? also, once again all your cut and shits are out of stock (i haven never once seen any in stock). were they in stock when this video was uploaded? otherwise i dont see a point in making the video.
When the truck is this size .3 inches makes a noticeable difference. They are always out of stock because they sell quick and I can’t make enough to keep up. It’s fine if you don’t want a set, they’re not for everyone but there is a group of people that enjoy them. These are a large Cut’N’Shut. Most my tires are 5.2-5.4 which is more of the sweet spot these tires are just on the big side. This video is because I hadn’t tried a set myself and wanted to try them 👍
Climb a hill-ability? 😆
The tuneability of cut 'n' shuts is limitless but the cost!!! 🤦🏻♂️
Yeah you can only think you got hit by rattler how far is the anti-venom away from you
10 minutes. More concerned if Sydney got bit she’s smaller and in more danger
I really like the ruptures, but they are about as ugly as it gets.
Lmao 🤣 really you can’t just set an do that an only that lmao. Sorry sorry
