How do I get the sound I made in vital into my song?
If you mean what I think you mean, you need to place notes in the piano roll, then create automation clips for the LEVEL +/MACRO 1 knob. I have a video showing it here: th-cam.com/video/jQh0IZ4c2vI/w-d-xo.html

Why is it that when I load the sound it sounds nothing like what you have?
You have to make a low and tight automation clip for Macro 1/Level + knob. Let me know if that helps/makes sense.
