I think a lot of people these days seem to watch shows (especally adaptations) wit the sole purpose of critiquing them. That kid of attitude can only lead to nitpicking. Watc the show to enjoy the show. Sure, you'll find some parts that are not good, and others that are great. Watch the show to find faults, and faults are all you'll find.

Everyone except the writers did well. I think the actors did a good job and so did the cgi and scenery people. Water bending could use a little improvement early on though.
The show was completely rekt by the writing imo. A lot of what Sokka is and personality was removed. Aang's free spirit personality also wasn't there. Can't say I'm disappointed as I was already expecting it to not be nearly as good as the original, the moment they said they removed Sokka's character development, (wasn't the change itself that made me think that, just the fact that they even thought they had to do it), but at least the show had its good parts.
The way y'all throw around the word "flop" is so funny
Sokka’s character development is still very much there bruh🤣 they only removed his sexism arc which while unnecessary made no significant impact on the rest of the show as it literally only lasted 2 episodes in the original
@ma6317I mean yeah he isn't that bad outside of removing that, but Aang was completely butchered, not to mention some other characters. Also the show is completely feeding you the obvious information like you're a 10 year old watching this instead of doing the "show don't tell" like good shows should.
@@chobitsotaku5613 he’s not bad at all outside of removing that. Also Aang really captures his OG counter part for the most part. People act like he was nothing but an innocent kid in atla but he also took his responsibility very seriously there. Tell me who else flops as a character? The only one I can think of that was kinda weak in performance was katara. I do however agree the show has way too much forced exposition but those other points you made really don’t apply here

For me, this show is okay (in a good way). If you looking for the exact same paces like the animated series, you’ll not find it here. This live action serve different paces but the point of the storyline is same with the animated series.
I’ve seen all the episodes and all the episodes are good for me. They make this live action also for extended version of the animated series.
There’s only two things that bother me, miscast for Mai and mischaracterization for avatar Roku. But the rest is okay and I can enjoy it🙂
Every character in here act like as they should be, except for avatar Roku that’s why I call it mischaracterization.
If you ask me “is this better from 2010 movie version?”…I’ll say YES.
Because it’s more make sense to film it into a series like this instead crammed into a single movie and feel so rushed like 2010 versions.
The actions are good, the benders effect looks good, the storyline is also good. You’ll find some episodes have a sad moment and that’s give a weight to this show🙂
They watered down katara's personality....and mostly others' also but I liked zuko and sokka's acting and the effects r good
