I really like the fact that although Isaiah is away at college, he still gets to see Abbie's first day and he gets to see things that he may have missed if you weren't vlogging. That's really special and I can only imagine how hard it was for him, knowing that he wouldn't be there for things like that. ♥

Sometimes it does sound like she says things. I think things sometimes come out right. She knows what words she is thinking and prob tries tk speak them. I think on rare occasions she gets out the words. I often think I hear her say "Mom" in these videos.

Simply having that faith and believing she could paired with determination to not give up on ur daughter insured her success! If u had given up, feeling defeated by autism and said “well there’s no point” she 100% wouldn’t be where she is today.

Abby was so typical teenager on the ride to school. I don’t know how they fall asleep so quickly😂😂 Maybe a return to the school routine will help Abby’s sleeping habits too. School may tire her out some.
We have an above ground pool that our son is almost done with but that didn't stop us all from getting in the pool. When my husband plopped down in the pool, I was thrown around due to the tidal wave he created. I was sitting down when the wave hit. It was hilarious with me bobbing around trying to stay still with the waves knocking me around. Our son enjoyed the show.
My grandson would fall asleep on the way to school. We would make up to the fire stations. We would make a game as if the doors were open. Most of Tim he made to school awake. His sister would fall asleep any time in car. She would be so grumpy When she went to speech I did not want to deal with that. As we were going there I found things on the road to look for. she liked that. We one day she was in the Back seat and was telling her mom about the stop signs with flasher. I was so happy when mom told me. I didn't tell mom about the games. If meant she had retained some to share with others. I felt it was part of talking to .others. Well guess what. She wasn't quite ready for school and stayed home. She went to VPK 5 days and speech 2 days thru child find. She has so much progress it is amazing. She just needed a little more time and it worked.
Asa “are you crying”? Me out loud “duh”!! Us mamas have a hard time when our babies go away to college or anywhere far away from us. But from someone who has done this twice... it will get easier! 🙏🏻❤️

I LOVE AUTISM MILESTONES! We have them a lot lately with my 15 year old boy. He has his own phone now and is able to go out and about and phone us if he needs me. He also is OBSESSED with abandoned houses so he is learning to use a drone now to view them without going on the property. We worked hard for him to be able to do "normal" things and he amazes us every year with new things!!!
Im still on that long road! My girl has been home since beginning of February and uni doesn’t start till end of September 🙃 🇬🇧 is fun, we are still not sure if she will be online or in person 🤪
My mom cried every year she dropped me off to college and any phone call made her choked up for the first few weeks. It’s hard having your kid leave the nest.

I use to do the same thing hold the cup in the shower fill it up and drink it because my parents wouldn’t give me food juice or water.
