I really loved this interview, Also made me love what Tremaine is doing with levis even more than I thought was possible. When Evelyn said what she said about everything wasn't in vain that really touched me. I need to get my hands on the collection.
Just to see these women at this age and still able to hold conversations like dat is amazing if you didn't say their ages I would've thought they were in their 70's . My great g ma. Lived till she was about 96 she passed in 2016. The last five years of her life were hard she stopped talking was bed ridden ect. So it's amazing to see your grandparents in good health
Even tho you thought i was a troublemaker at procell, i honestly did put my time in for the pieces i bought that day. I wanted to thank you for giving us that opportunity because seeing what these jeans stand for to you connects to me and i can guarantee no matter the state you sell your jeans you will see me every time. Thanks again Tremaine.
Wow! This brings me to tears.Happy tears..Remembering when I grew and the cotton fields. Such an Amazing story.. Thank you for sharing. May God continue to bless you.
“Worked two or three jobs, but I’m still here “…. This woman reminds me of my grandparents SO MUCH. I miss having their company and guidance EVERYDAY!!!!😢
I feel as if he’s very smart to actually collab with Levi’s vs just using their jeans and reconstructing independently like galley dept, nice work and story behind the brand wish nothing but success 🔥
This story is so close to me as an artist just to even be a black artist my strength comes from my dad mum and my grandparents the power they gave me is wat I carry with me all through this globe peace for this Emory from Zambia to Australia
The thought and details done to make this brand is amazing we help build this world glad to see theses pieces and idea of this brand really dope origins
Tremaine is a real good soul, appreciate this video a lot man. As a Caribbean native, i always link it back to the sugar cane industry that we had here with the slaves and indentured labourers. To utilize those stories in an initiative like this is awe inspiring

Aidan Brennan people are weird
This is awesome and needed, kudos to Jonathan Cheung and whomever else that made this project possible
It is pretty heartbreaking how some humans can see negativity where others see positivity and inspiration.
Great documentary and collaboration.

Legend
After watching this I understand that my designs are based from what I've seen and where I'm from. What occurs in daily life.
This is a raw interview. I man talking to his grandma no fake questions, no gimmicks, most importantly history being honored out of appreciation
Facts, about celebrities not always being a hero, look what u were able to accomplish where honoring ur family name. This man is incredible!
I wish I could buy these but I’m so broke
Beautiful
❤️🔥
Why would someone dislike this
I like everything behind the style. I just think it’s sad that not every black person gets to wear an item such as me because I’m plus size
Jedi energy

Virgil brought me here
Black People are the Israelites that the Bible speaks about and that’s why we where in Slavery
