Man I love seeing new videos on KF2! I have to agree that Killing Floor games have some of the best gun play I've ever seen. KF1 in my opinion has a very crunchy satisfying feel while KF2 has a very show-off satisfying feel. Different types of gun play but both are made extremely well and fit the game to the T. I'd love to see you make more KF2 content. Cheers 🍻!
can you make a comparison of gun sounds between the first one and second one? Because i bet you woul love to hear how much better the guns sound in the first compared to the 2nd
YT randomly sent me your way and im glad it did. Great video, i used to play it a lot back when it launched, kind of makes me want to pick it up again. And about the guns, Desert Eagle fires .50 Action Express ( 12,7 x 33 mm), 500 Magnum has the same name as the ammo and is ( 12,7 x 41 mm), by comparison the Barret fires the .50BMG ( 12,7 x 99mm), they are all 50 cals, what changes are the amount of gunpowder and weight of the bullet and size of the casing.
Hey I really appreciate that! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's a great game to play every now and then, definitely scratches a particular itch. Also, thank you for explaining the ammo types in depth, that makes it make a ton more sense.
The gun play is awesome, but I just hate how (last I checked) they added a ton of weapons variants that just blur the lines between classes. Healing rocket launcher, fire doomstick (quad barrel shotgun), and a whole bunch of other stuff. Having a few weapons here and there that is a little bit of one class but still feels and functions like it's made for the class it's mainly for (like the dragon's breath shotgun for the firebug or the medic shotgun for the medic or the automatic rifle with a grenade launcher for the demolitionist.) is one thing, but like I said they're doing enough of it to blur the lines, make classes matter less.
I agree. I hadn't played for years and I noticed a lot of the crossing between classes. I did a recording with the firebug too and it really stood out in that class for me that most of the firebugs end game weapons aren't even flame related. I imagine that aspect be better in killing floor 3 simply for the fact that it will probably have a lot less weapons on release.
@@Fitzington Yeah, but what I'm saying is that they're doing too many weapons that even if they're related to the respective class, are like a modified version of an already existing weapon. At this stage they either need to do away with that entirely (besides the occasional weapon that has a little bit of one class while still focused on the class it was made for, like the dragon's breath shotgun for the firebug) or they need to do away with classes in kf3.
dang lil bro game been out for 10 years and you still dont have gunslinger prestige? Just kidding, love kf2 but kinda iffy about kf3.... Also the music in kf2 slaps as the kids would say
there was a huge "quick moment" promo at which this game was $0.5, this is the best thing i've bought in my life
Thats awesome
