@@rogueengineer I don't have a workshop at the moment so I'm living vicariously through makers like you! That said, I reckon I could do this with the tools and space I've got.
Love seeing the glorious help from the wife. Teamwork! My wife just asks when it will be done and doesn't understand why certain projects take so long lol Turned out great. That room is ready for a Super Bowl party. Plenty of seating.
Back in the day my wife didn't understand why I couldn't get a project done in a half hour like Norm Abrams. I wish I had room for something like that in my home.
Hello! Was going to make this. I see ur dimension’s are 36 inch tall on the table. Can I ask how tall your barstools are? So I can get an idea. Thank you!!
I dont own a jointer, I just use a long straight edge an table saw for the first cut and then run that perfect flat edge against the fence for the other side. Got tired of hand planing and splurged on a dewalt 735. After the table saw, its the best money I've spent in the shop to date
Don't need much. Table saw and clamps will get you most of the way. Don't need the pocket screws either. Properly glued up joints are stronger than the natural bond between wood fibers anyways. I joint on the table saw and have a hand plane, but recently upgraded to the dewalt 735. I'd buy in this order. Table saw, planer, chop saw, band saw and then it's kinda all the same imo. Buy what you need when you need it. Don't do like me an drop 3k an end up really only using the table saw lol
Talk a little less, andgo straight to the point in more concise sentences. I enjoyed your projects but had to fast forward a lot. Loved the concrete top console.
He’s showing you how to build a table in 4 mins FFS, how much faster do you need it to be. If your patience for the video leaches into other parts of your life I suggest you don’t take on diy projects, especially ones that involve precision and painting.

This project has so much potential... adding outlets for laptops, usb or wireless chearging insets, etc. Love it. !!!
That console table turned out great! Nice work & I can think of a lot of uses for that table. 👍
Your basement keeps getting better and better!
Wow !! Simple but excellent !!!
Another awesome video!! Thank you!!
Thank you for a great video and plans, I made it at 75 inches due to size of couch. It turned out great! Thanks!
thanks for inspiring me. Love it
That is so nice... definitely one I'm book marking for later.
Thanks Paul!

This looks really great!
Love the choice of stain! Console looks great!
Thank you!
I loved u guys ‘office’..cool
Fantastic video and plans! What type of wood did you use for the top and posts? It looks like pine but you mentioned douglas fir for the posts.
Looks great! What color stain did you use?
How do you usually deal with warped lumber that will end up not level
Where did you get the wood for the legs?
I want to do this project but don’t have a jointer or planer. Do you think it would still look good?

Was set on making this until I needed a jointer and planer. Any--decent--way to get rid of the rounded edges without those?
You can use a table saw with a straight edge as a jointer. Lots of videos of people teaching that.

Will the table bow without support in center?
No
How long did this project take to be completed from start to finish ?
What is cheaper MDF or plywood?
What height did y'all go with for the table?
Does it have any sag after 2 years of usage?
none whatsoever
Man, I thought I could do that, but I don't have all these tools and wood is so expensive in here right now. Just buying one would be cheaper.
