I have below a list of all the equipment we use on most our shoots. They are direct links to Amazon, where we bought all the same equipment. For all our aerial shots, we use the DJI Inspire 1, with two controllers.

Our favorite audio mic for on board camera:

We also use B+W circular polarizer. They get rid of the reflections from water, windows, and most plants/green things. We use them whenever the sun is out. When buying a polarizer make sure to get the right size for the lens that you own. I feel if your going to spend the money and buy an expensive lens, it's worth spending the extra money to buy a polarizer of the same quality to match your lens, otherwise your lens won't be as clear. Plan on spending about 130 dollars US for one.

I love Devin's excitement over this. I share that same passion! I just moved to Burbank at the beginning of this year, literally 5 miles down the street from Universal Studios, and I go at least a couple times a month. I get excited every time I take the Studio Tour and see the backlot, riding the tram through those movie sets, seeing what's going on that day, guessing what's being filmed when I see a crew at work. I can't get enough of it! I hope some day I can actually take my camera on foot through the backlot like this. To walk where Spielberg has walked, to stand in front of the same spot as Marty McFly... Loving the tutorials, I assume we're not getting any this week due to another amazing video in the works? I think your team's attitude towards life and work is the main take away for me. You can be the most skilled cinematographer in the world but that's useless if you can't make things happen, which usually comes down to positivity and pushing through the hard times and problems you will inevitably face.

Your camera guy controls that glidecam well! I used a Black Magic on a glidecam this week for work and it was extremely heavy and swaying all over the place haha
This stuff makes my heart flutter.I love that nothing is as it seems.
Including the Royal family, Jimmy Saville, Trudeau, the Bushes and Obama, who are in reality all related. Everything is scripted.

The Universal Backlot tour summed up in 5 minutes.
I was wondering how you zoom in and out so fast? And how you keep it from beeing blurry when you change the distance besides refocusing the camera all the time? It might be pretty basic but I still don't know. Does it just depend on the kind of lense you have or how does it work?

This is cool, but wouldn't this mean that the same street and location comes back over and over again in a lot of Hollywood films? I do not watch many films myself, and don't really have a clue, but it would be cool to have a sort of list with all the films featuring a scene or more from this location.
I was one time to babelsberg's studios in Berlin but it's way smaller than Universal :-)
