    I just bought a 2011 Genesis Sedan. The leather is in good shape but the previous owner definitely only ever cleaned and maintained the Driver seat while the other seats were left un used. This little kit made all the seats feel like brand new again. Absolutely worth it!

      @@pullingthestrings5233 because I cleaned it with the kit haha. Once you really scrub off all the crap and condition it- it’s truly clean. And yes, it does smell good! But I’m not like putting my nose up to the seat, my guy lol. The car interior in general will smell nice from the leather conditioner.

    I'm not sure i used this in the right context, but i just got a new (not really new, used from a thrift store) breifcaze thats a little banged up and faded, but literally one clean and it looks brand new. I also used it on my boots that I've had for upwards of 6 years, and two or three cleans and they look brand new! This stuff is seriously better than any cleaner I've ever used.

    I use these products on my 2016 f150 king ranch. I also hit the carpet areas with the leather scent spray. Every time someone gets in my truck they comment on how great the leather smells. Also sometimes get asked how I make the truck smell so good on the inside. My leather seats look great. Especially knowing it now has 90k miles

    I purchased the leather care kit. While the solutions are OK, the bristles on the brush for cleaning started falling out and shedding all over the interior after use on only 3 seats.
    I brought this to Chemical Guys attention and their response was "thank you for your feedback" and "welcome to the Chemical Guys family". No apology or offer to replace the poor-quality brush. I won't be a repeat customer.

    Nick, After cleaning, what should we do first, leather Serum or leather conditioner? After you've sealed the seats with Leather Serum how should we care for the seats? If we have to use leather cleaner a month or 2 down the road, after Serum do we have to reapply it? As you can tell, I am a little confused about the order and how resistant Serum is to being removed by Leather cleaner.

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Hey BigOldDog! After thoroughly cleaning and drying the leather, apply Leather Conditioner and then Leather Serum. If Leather Cleaner is used again down the road it will remove or degrade the protectants and it should be reapplied in the same order as before.

    How many layers should you do?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Daniel! Depending on the condition of the leather it may be fine with one coat or if it absorbs rapidly it may take multiple coats to rejuvenate and protect.

      What would be a good indicator that it has absorbed enough?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      After letting the conditioner sit on the surface for a moment and there is excess left behind it means the leather has been nourished and now longer dry.

    How does your Cleaner and Conditioner 2-in-1 product compare to using two separate products?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Enric! Whenever performing multiple steps it will achieve a better result than using an all in one product. Sprayable Leather is perfect for maintaining new/clean leather goods whereas it would be best to detail dirty leather with Leather Cleaner and Leather Conditioner.

    Can you use these cleaners on air conditioned seats? Mainly worried about the product getting into the air holes.

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Timothy! It is perfectly fine to use the Leather Cleaner and Leather Conditioner on perforated leather. Avoid build up by spraying your brush or towel rather than the surface of the seat and when applying protection, spread it out on the applicator to prevent heavy clots.

      @@ChemicalGuys Nick, thanks for the quick reply!! One other question. How long does it take for the products to dry after applying the conditioner?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Leather Conditioner will begin to dry almost immediately, so it only takes a few moments before buffing off the excess.

    • @ChemicalGuys

      Hey there! Leather Cleaner will not stain stitching, avoid applying a heavy dab of Leather Conditioner by spreading the product over the applicator in a fine layer before touching the leather surface.

    Will this work for a leather suede mix and how often should I do it?

    • @ChemicalGuys
      @ChemicalGuys  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We recommend gently wiping down suede surfaces with a soft microfiber towel. Due to the sensitive nature of the material, we do not recommend using a stiff bristle brush or aggressive cleaner.
