Agree that Nathan did a fantastic job with the questions. Thank y'all so much for taking the time to share your thoughts on Green Team Wins (and for playing it on your live stream recently). Your continued support of 25th Century means a lot. - Chad

Herd Mentality is another good party game that sort of riffs on this idea.

This has become my go-to game with "non-gamers"! I picked up 6 copies as gifts for folks while it was on sale. The great thing is that you can put multiple copies together to play in big groups!

This sounds like it would be great for Zoom meetings and online team building events. Is there an app or web version yet?

It seems very similar to Herd Mentality and Hive mind...it comes down to how they handle ties... Are the questions all open ended and non region specific (like things in US/UK)

Great review. You can hear in your voices how much you enjoyed it.

Are there enough cards that you don’t feel like after 10 plays that you’ve seen it all and the game thus becomes a dud? Where you’re like oh okay everyone always says Sesame STREET?

There are 70 cards of each type and you only use 5 for each game, so you won't see the same cards over and over. If you play with different people, you'll find that just because one group answers one way doesn't mean that same answer will win with a different group.

@@25thCenturyGames Thanks for the response. Seems like a lot of cards and a really fun game (for the Thanksgiving crew that will descend on my home!)!

Preorder delays unfortunately. Not sure what is going on with Coolstuff and MM since it seems to be available on Amazon.

This one seems to just mash up a few other party games together. It reminds me a lot of Blank Slate and Herd Mentality…which I feel both do it better.

I hope the pun titles are here to stay.

Easily the best part of this recent revamp. Sure, the fact most reviews now have multiple people is good, but those puns give me life.

      This one was weak. :)

This one is fine. Some of the titles have been pretty bad puns, not in a good way.

I was thinking the game seems similar to herd mentality where herd mentality seems more balance. I don't like the unable to catch up mechanic in this.

Bgg tom vasel’s rating is an 8 😂 (herd mentality only 6.5)

Sounds like Blank Slate & Herd Mentality combined.

So the main hook is not good, the gameplay is just a copy of many other party games, and the components are also lacking... Not the most glowing approval endorsement :D
An interesting case-study about hype in modern day world

    • @chuckm1961
      @chuckm1961 ปีที่แล้ว +3

I don’t think that the people who are loving the game think the hook is not good, care whether or not the game is a copy, or give much of a damn about the components. The game is not selling because of “hype,” it’s selling because people enjoy it.
But your subtext about being better than the rest of us is clearly received.
