I personally think that her character in *Footloose* should've been given more character background. Like such as before the beginning of the movie, her character, Ariel should've babysat Sarah and Amy Warnicker, Ren McCormack's maternal first cousins before he and his mother moved to Bomont from Chicago and would teach them how to dance in secret during the summers and sometimes during school all the while was paid for her services. And maybe even be a cheerleader.
