So I just watched your video, I have one of these phones with shattered back glass and also one of the camera lenses. I'm not seeing what the reason is for having to completely disassemble the phone from the front, it looks like the glass could be removed and replaced directly without having to open it up? Am I missing something?
If you use heat on the back, you might have to call the fire department 😂 it’s to protect the components from a constant blast of heat. The process can take up to an hour with around 130 C of constant heat on the phone body. And you know how batteries are
Hi, if you want to keep the phone dust free and water resistant, yes. And I’ce worked on phones where the adhesive wasn’t replaced and they were full of stuff inside.
Great video. Can you please share where to buy the back glass?
If you’re in the EU you can buy it from fix-shop.eu or whatever online parts store in your country, or aliexpress

Ive done it on a 10 without completing a disassemble but it took hours to work the glass out.
Hi front display do you need to reapply adhesive?

I’m stuck with removing the damn glass on the back 😂
A lot of it doesn’t want to come off. It’s the original back glass. Could alcohol loosen it up?
You can try with alcohol on those pieces, if it eon’t do a difference, and you can control the heat, increase it slighty until they come off
IPA your solution
