@The Weavile i don't think so. She's kinda the same as Hex in Classic, started to develop in UAF and went crazy after she failed to keep her father alive (she did revive him, but her purpose was to live with him), they commented many times in OV that she was off her mind.
Some people are disappointed that Gwen destroyed the charms, but it's a great character moment for her. @@lazyking8445 That's different. Adult Gwen is a powerful sorceress who merely uses the charms to amplify her own magic powers rather than relying on them.
All the supernatural things in this series can usually be put into three categories: Magic, Mutant, or Alien. If we go by recent villains, Hex is solidly magic, Zombozo and his circus freaks are mutants, and Vilgax is obviously alien. The general rule of thumb is that unless told otherwise, if a character is human or human-like assume mutant, if not assume alien. Magic is usually clearly defined, like in this episode. There's usually overlap too. Sometimes you'll have magic aliens, sometimes mutant aliens, sometimes mutant mages or people mutated by magic. My advice is to kinda go with it. @@vetarlittorf1807 I disagree. It's a terrible character moment for her. Gwen using the Charms is what helps them take down Hex. Gwen just being "herself" is a shoe-horned in 'moral lesson' for her to have just for the sake of warping up the episode. Not to mention that next season, she completely regrets it by wishing she could be Lucky Girl again. She then proceeds to train in magical abilities for the rest of the four series, so that was the path she was leading down anyways. You’re saying that she destroyed them as an act of responsibility to stop someone else from getting them, but that’s not why.
