As a German traveling along south Britain I enjoyed a lot of things, but the one I loved the most was trying another variation of british breakfast every place I've come by. I just love everything about it. ❤
Love a full English. I'm American and travel to the UK 3 or 4 times per year for work. I love the breakfasts and the Hiltons don't do a bad job on it. That being said, after the 3rd day in a row of sausages, bacon, hash, beans, and eggs I start to get worn out on it a bit. Though I do usually like to have a great big breakfast from the hotel, skip lunch, and find a new spot to try for supper every time I'm there.
It is no surprise that the full English breakfast would appeal to the German pallete considering the involvement of pork items. The sausages and bacon are the fundamental staple, with fried eggs, hopefully some black pudding. Beans are an option, sometimes offset by a grilled tomato. Mushrooms and buttered toast. Hash browns are a more recent addition from America.

I think we each crave a bit of each others cuisine now and then to keep things interesting and balanced. My favourite breakfast: baked beans on toast for 6 minutes in the oven, then put some cheese on top and let it continue for two more minutes. Oh, and also: put bacon into your backed beans and some onions. That is the best food to quickly make at home at any hour.
As an American who absolutely loves beans, I simply can't make the jump to eat them for Frühstück but then again, I love my grits and I am sure many here in Germany or in the UK would not partake of that Southern goodness.

I'm from Switzerland and not a fan of sweet breakfasts... so... I actually liked the english breakfast when on vacation in London xD it's quite filling and gives you enough energy to go about your day until dinner time.
