I went to the German Grand Prix in 1988; most definitely NOT an ASMR experience. :) But it was a great time and I'm proud to say that I saw the likes of Mansell, Prost, and Senna race. Senna won.
Can't believe you like F1! I would never have guessed. My favourite driver is Jenson Button, he lived on the same island as me for a while, and I once queued at the supermarket next to him 😊
This has been one of my favorites since the Mass Effect art book. I find that the pacing you have with going through each page is extremely relaxing. I also think it's admirable that you can be so vulnerable with showing all of your interests. Thanks for all the work you put into your videos. You are absolutely amazing!

This is one of if not the most relaxing video I've seen/watched/listened to on youtube. I'm not much of a fan of f1 (I watch it from time to time but very rare) but I really enjoyed the education in the video regardless of if I already new bits or not lol. You forgot to mention how popular F1 is in Asia, esp. Japan. Some of F1's greatest moments happened in Japan at both Fuji and Suzuka. Anyway. Always good to see more F1 fans.

Ayrton is my all time favourite, the movie was good, but not nearly as comprehensive a documentary as I was expecting. With all the resources available to the film makers, it was a shame that quite a lot of the footage used was old material, as in that it had been used before. For new people learning of Senna, no doubt it would have been great, but for avid fans, we just sat through a movie with content that we had already seen and had at home on other various DVD,s.
I never really pay attention to the Oscars. But I was still peeved at the fact that Rush didn't even get a single nod at the 2014 awards. I'm no acting "expert". But Daniel Bruhl really sold it. In that graphic lung vacuuming scene.
Springbok is back as of mid-2024. I've been looking at her videos all morning, the Fallout 4 settlement builds, and some of her new ones. Her voice and smile are just as mesmerizing as ever.
I love F1! I've enjoyed it here and there for a long time, but I got into it a lot more this season as the guys from Giant Bomb (the website) have been running a weekly podcast about it which I've been listening to. It's always lovely to find other people who enjoy it - I wouldn't have pegged you as such (mainly as it isn't especially popular in North America, as you said during your introduction) so this video was a pleasant surprise!
I've always been curious about Formula 1; even though I've never been a sports fan of any kind. So, I looked up a couple of documentaries about the sport after watching this video and was absolutely fascinated; mostly by the engineering aspects. I was especially impressed with the story of Williams F1 and how he went from a used car salesman to one of the top competitors on the track. Thanks for giving me something really fun to learn about! Love your videos!

Good video. It seems like a lot done like this are done to entice men who are interested in cars. But usually it's fluff and obvious they don't know the technical details or are really interested in the subject. It's clear that you are actually interested in F1 and that's very refreshing and adds to the video.
Kind of the coolest video. aside from the asmr, an American girl reping/talking about F1 and real racing kind of just made my day. I'm an avid driver/racer and would really love to see this sport gain popularity here in the states. We need more tracks here!

I'm personally more of a fan of WRC/Rally America myself. I grew up racing on dirt so it appeals to me, lol. F1 is definitely more entertaining than Nascar though, haha. If you've never heard of "group b" rally before, I suggest you look up some clips of the cars (my personal favorites are the Audi Quattro and Ford RS200) and watch racing clips. Totally insane. Another great video :)
My dad is a huge fan of Vettel which I can understand cause he is young for the sport and already showing a ton of skill. I don't have a favorite but I do like Hamilton and usually pull for him when I watch a race
this was lovely! Perhaps you can make race specific videos once a month, summing up results and standings or your favorite courses & drivers. Daniel Riccardo had a good finish @ Monza last weekend and you can preview the next scheduled race, Singapore (night race). It doesn't have to be too educational either, as I can listen to you say parabolica and chicane over and over for 20 minutes too. You're the best!

It's so awesome to find other females interested in racing of any sort :) this is why you're one of my favorite asmrtists... you show that you can be gentle and graceful but still enjoy rough and tumble sports (yes, for all those dudes out there that don't believe it, racing is an endurance sport and a very rough one at that!) My husband and I both hope to go to rally school one day. I wanted to get into formula racing, but I don't think I'm physically capable of driving the way they do!
