Then later, in Season 3 when Zuko is back at the palace, he's feeding the turtleducks again; Azula walks up and the turtleduck run away screaming.

+Cameron Miller yeah. we saw him as an old, wise and powerful mentor. I'd like to see the young iroh too. I mean... he marched an army to take Ba Sing Se. it would be an amazing story.
+Sefa Aydemir I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Iroh was brash, and kind an idiot in his younger, Earth nation conquering days. Nobody's born wise--but it's honed with experience. Speaking on Aang’s time crunch to learn bending, he actually only had 7 months, seeing as it was the end of winter at the shows start and summer’s end at the finale. He only learned earth water and fire, not mastered them. That’s why he was in the Avatar state for much of the fight between him and Ozai. Batchi How dude? Kids can enjoy it thoroughly and understand most of the stuff but many times the subjects or issues raised in the show are for adults because kids cans understand that. Tom and Jerry can be called a kids show.
Movie Nerds there are two shows in one imo. The funny and the action parts for kids and the deeper meanings for the. older ones. Kids dont get disturbed and get a nice cool show and we, well, a masterpiece. i myself enjoyed it as a kid, without understanding many things and rewatched it when i got older.
HAHA Some people wanted Zuko and Katara to be together, it wouldn't have been illegal. They could have been together if only people didn't ship Aang with Katara so much. Edit: I don’t remember posting this... Anywho, there was a petition a while ago protesting against Kataang.
Zuko's age is also revealed. It was revealed that his father fought him when he was 13 and banished him and it took him 3 years to come home, so he was 16 by the time he came home.
Ahh when Zuko went to visit Iroh after joining Team Avatar and they were crying in each other's arms, I cried. Like holy cow I love Zuko. The fact that Iroh, his mother, and Mai were his only friends at first was just so sad. Imagine being banished by your father. Like c'mere Zuko, come give me a hug!!
Here's an actual kinda cool aspect about the Great Divide. The two tribes are literally named after their defining traits in Mandarin (Zhang=Dirty, Gan Jin= Clean)
omg i always wondered how to describe it and that’s the perfect word. i also go through an obsessive phase where i research a show i’ve just finished and dig deep into the fandom to the point of no return.
Lol, honestly I prefer Katara saying the whole "Water, Air, Earth, Fire" but it was totally worth it because of the Shyamalan thing. I was not expecting it. 😂😂
Fun Fact: ATLA and LOK both end with the word "Perfect". In ATLA, Toph says "Well I think you guys all look perfect." In LOK, Korra says "Sounds perfect." Coincidence?
If you don't count Katara's opening in the first episode, the first word ever said in Avatar: the Last Airbender is "it's". So, the first word and the last word together make "it's perfect". And it is. It really is.
'does that make Aang, Zuko's great-grandfather?' me: well i mean he's 112 years old he just doesnt look like someone who would have grandkids also me:aw, who am i kidding

Could you imagine Avatar: The Last Airbender without Zuko? The greatest redemption arc in television history (don't fight me) and they almost scrapped him. That would've been disastrous.
I wish they made this show but then for young adults so it becomes a lil darker anime (with actual deaths etc) things like the bloodbending could be expanded and that would be dope af
@@ewadrerries1873 Yeah right?! I legit thought about that when I watched it. In Book 3 "The Puppetmaster" when the old lady showed Katara how to absorb water out of plants and trees for bending, I low-key thought it was gonna go dark and show them absorb water out of a human body, leaving the body life less. But they introduced blood bending instead. It for sure would've given waterbenders a bigger advantage over their enemies, but I understand why they didn't use that concept in a child friendly show
As much as I didn't want it to end, I know that usually the best types of stories are the ones that have a good well paced length. If it were any longer, it could've run into a classic issue with TV shows in being filled with too many filler episodes.
For fact 46: The lion turtles actually gave people the ability to bend the elements but didn't necessarily teach them. Thats why ppl had to learn from the original benders which were dragons, flying bison, the moon and badger moles.
They did that as a way to sum up the whole series before the finale for anyone who missed the beginning of the show. But forget an episode, I vote they do a whole series on Iroh.
The Ember Island Players episode is meant to have a meta-humorous approach, basically the entire show poking fun at its storyline and its own character tropes. Yet the creators managed to disguise this approach with an exposition of the play being written by a famous playwright from the Fire Nation - a place that's already biased and propagandized, so of course the "Fire Nation playwright" effed up Team Avatar's actual characterization. It's very clever and silly on the writers' part, and wouldn't make full sense as an actual recap episode anyway. And it still serves a purpose of moving the story along, due to the play's ending about Ozai being victorious.
It was a good wink to all of the story... And the execution was both funny and amazing. There was a lot of thought on how it would translate to those times theatre
The best desicion was to add zuko - he had the best story arc in the entire series

Movie Nerds it is, but it doesn't make it bad, it's just a fact.

Some people wanted Zuko and Katara to be together, it wouldn't have been illegal. They could have been together if only people didn't ship Aang with Katara so much.
Edit: I don’t remember posting this... Anywho, there was a petition a while ago protesting against Kataang.

Watch legend of korra and read the comics they are really good!
Lol, honestly I prefer Katara saying the whole "Water, Air, Earth, Fire" but it was totally worth it because of the Shyamalan thing. I was not expecting it. 😂😂

No I don't think so because anime is japanese animation and Avater wasn't japanese even though it was animated.
Fun Fact:
ATLA and LOK both end with the word "Perfect".
In ATLA, Toph says "Well I think you guys all look perfect."
In LOK, Korra says "Sounds perfect."
Coincidence?
Great word to wrap up the shows.
I THINK NOT !
+huckmart 99 obj,, hn
If you don't count Katara's opening in the first episode, the first word ever said in Avatar: the Last Airbender is "it's".
So, the first word and the last word together make "it's perfect".
And it is. It really is.
Probably not.

Could you imagine Avatar: The Last Airbender without Zuko? The greatest redemption arc in television history (don't fight me) and they almost scrapped him. That would've been disastrous.
So you're telling me the last line of atla was a blind joke? I'm here for it.....
I feel like Sokka meaning “is that so” or “ah really” is a nod to his sarcasm haha
This show is just so far above anything else on Nickelodeon. If only they could put this genius into all their shows.
Turtle Master 24 best animated show ever imho and my favorite show ever besides the sopranos
This was one of the best shows ever and still is
I wish there is another show similar to this
I wish they made this show but then for young adults so it becomes a lil darker anime (with actual deaths etc) things like the bloodbending could be expanded and that would be dope af
@@ewadrerries1873 yeah they would be cool .. I've gotta get into some anime

So they wouldn’t give us an Iroh backstory episode but did give us an episode of them watching a play about themselves?
But i liked that episode! I still want to see irohs back story thoo
They did that as a way to sum up the whole series before the finale for anyone who missed the beginning of the show. But forget an episode, I vote they do a whole series on Iroh.
Elon Crust that was point
I grew up watching this show and I’ve rewatched it twice on netflix, and I just finished legend of Korra. I LOVE ATLA
