I think it's awesome that this actor is Muslim!! He even said in an interview, “Islam believes that Jesus is a prophet, and they honor him - highly - and they respect him and they follow his teachings. So, for me, as somebody who was raised Muslim, it is an honor to actually play Jesus, just because of that.” :)

+Ross W. Master A lot of the people who this story revolves around were real people. Pontius Pilate, Herod, Antipas, Salome, Herodia, Caiaphas, etc.
