And so unreal that it still holds true in 2025 - better quality of life for less

9:45 really appreciate that info on traveling to places like Vietnam and Malaysia. Really like the sound of living in Thailand for traveling to other places and living for low cost/more for our money, thanks.

Very good video. I love Thailand and would love to move there. My gf lives In Phuket and she gave me 3 years to move or she would move to me here in Sweden. So im a little stressed right now, feels kinda hard finding a job in Thailand thats not teacher or work in telephonesale service. Feels easier if she moves here to Sweden with work. 😊

Go for it! However, if you ask me I think Phuket isn't that great for long term. I love it, but now it's also super busy and you'll feel more like in Russia there than in Thailand for a few months a year. Hua Hin has like 1/10 of that tourism and it's mostly long-term people here, also people from Scandinavia.

How's the air quality year round? It is cheap but the air quality is not good, your health will suffer

if you choose a place with good quality then good, if you choose a place with bad quality - bad

if you ask about Hua Hin, I haven't been here year-round. In May, November, December it was good. Now, in January, there are some days when it's bad. Then again, there are hundreds of other options where to be here

That's why v earn USD1k is equivalent to you earning USD10k in a big US city or Europe . Btw only about 20% of us pay income tax at a max of 30%.

100% - you have to look at what you can get for that money. Yes, also people in my country earn more than many Thais, but our prices are also 2,3, 4 times higher - for example, eating out is something many people do only a few times a year (because it’s a luxury)
