I love the top down camera approach - its perfect when talking about a card game like this. Damn you can shuffle those cards!
Thanks ziggurat-builder! Thankfully my camera shy mentality lends itself to most of the content I review. :P As to the cards, what can I say? I love cards. I am planning ( have already pre-written topical concepts ) to do some videos on cards as a mechanic for solo role playing along with talking about iterative concepts and game-play loops and how cards can be a good solution.

This looks awesome! May I ask what that leather thing under the book is?
Its a leather card mat for standard playing cards. They are often used by card magicians. I thought it might help center the view for the viewer and it also helps me know where my hands are relative to the camera if it is pre-centered. When I have an object centered I don't have to worry about constantly checking the camera or the computer for positioning. So it may get some more screen time unless it becomes an eye sore or more frustration that its worth. I removed it from the latest video I recorded ( editing now ) due to table space. I wondered if someone was going to ask about that ;) Thank you for the question WritersBlock :)
