Mark instead of around the body kettlebell i do huge swings across the back of my body and the front across the body and side of body. With a club as well
just getting back into kettle bells - also starting to think about ski season... seems like a perfect opportunity.. is it better to start with clubs? I really don't want to bash my knees... ps that looks like an Austin Healey 100? looks like a lovely on-going restoration - bravo
Plus, you adopt this technique and between each set don’t rest but instead go on that Concept 2 Ski-erg (seen in the background of Mark) and you will burn at a new level! (In a good way!) ;) Do note, this is a very advanced level and it’s insanely intense. But as stated many times “getting fit isn’t supposed to be easy” You adopt a similar technique to this rock-it technique on the Ski-erg and you will have created a circuit training method that will take your fitness beyond what you thought possible … I wish my gym had these Ski-ergs! As always, Mark, your instructions and attention to the details are phenomenal! Thank you thank you thank you!
Just like my previous post on another similar vid on this - one of the best exercise to add in your arsenal. I also use the weighted mace (ball-weight side-up) so the weight is either sitting on your thumb-side fist or with some space - if you put a space between, it will help improve your grip. On the other hand, watching Mark is cool & all doing demos, BUT both the car & bike are eye-stealers - cannot wait to see the finished car! Is that a 1960s MG?!
@@MarkWildman my first reply from Mr Wildman himself! thank you sir, your channel has been my main resource since 2020. I supplement with other channels but this one is my "meat and potatoes" so to speak 🙏🏽
I used to ride my mountain bike all the time. My glutes, calves, and forearms were solid. Today, I'm using your exercises for deconditioned people. Would love to get back to using this.
@@MarkWildman Thanks! Will be a while on the ride, as I'm 160 lbs over.I'm 6'4", so my frame handles it a little better, but I'm still almost twice my optimum weight. I will definitely look into the other things you've mentioned!
I do double outside swings right now with plates (they have handles obviously). Should I progress right to this? Or would you recommend something in between? I have a few kettlebells, but only one for each weight.
Rare to see exercises that target mountain biking and skiing, great stuff! Thanks!
Nice, posted while I'm in middle of workout. Definitely about to try this! Already had two 12kg kettlebells side by side in front of me. It's a sign.
When you rock it your Heart rate rockets
Good timing on a video for ski training, etc. Maybe I'll actually follow through on my yearly intention to start training in the fall.
Just did these today.
These will be good for EMOM and/HIIT.
Crazy weight on the arc in the back!
Awesome brother!!!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🏋🏻♂️🏋🏻♂️🏋🏻♂️
Whens the next QA Mark?

Do one for Telemark skiing ❤
I've only just started doing the double outside swings, I think I will definitely need to get a bit stronger to do these rockets safely .
Rockets are hard on the athlete for sure

Build up to swing program , the clean and press, the tgu master, and ride 2 days a week

I do MTB and BMX, I'm gonna try these. I don't even think I've ever swung 2kb at a time.
It’s hard. Even at light weight, but you can always increase the time frame
Could you use a trap bar?
Mountain biker here. Would it be ok to do this with two different weight kettle bells?
Yes, just make sure to do equal numbers on each side.
@@optes00 Thanks!

Get a adex and make it short and havey for difficulty
So, there are *two* KB 64 videos, Mark??
Or, is this No. 63? Or, 65? If 65, then we haven't still located No. 63. Just sayin'..........
I’ll ask my editor
Truly terrible, I love it
An abs roller . Good , by your opinion?
Very
Depends on how strong you are
Overall…. Good
@@MarkWildman Strong, it's because it's a hard exercise..? I mean , difficult for a beginner?
As if you'd do this instead of just a regular squat or lunge movement with full range of motion.

So exited to torture myself with these skills.
