Hard to be in a bad mood when your business is thriving and you found a “good car”. Being good is cool having a big budget is great but some chassis just work better than others. You can have the same builder use the same spec, same material, all the same variables such as filler, heat, where vent holes are drill etc and put them on the exact same vehicle with exact same set up and one will always perform slightly better. Sometimes you get once in a lifetime chassis that are worth everything and that’s the kcmaxx firebird man I’ve been following this car maybe 5 years and him and beaters mustang just “work” they found that one in 10k. I’ve seen men who own 4-5 race cars and in a new car every week have that ONE out of the 5 they’ll never sell and have seen them literally cry at the loss of it. POS chassis mild steel from the 90s still just “working” sure the chromoly cars are faster but for 50k lol that little 2k chassis was still keeping up and he new just like kc and beater you can’t replace that “one” which is why a new car was never an option lol he replaced literally EVERYTHING on that car after the wreck but going to a new chassis was never even a thought
Ryan and KC Maxx is probably my absolute favorite car/driver combo.
That car gets down, and Ryan is always enjoyable to have on camera. He's smart and so humble.

if nothing else I need to know what transmission cooler this dude is using 🤣 fucking incredible stuff from ryan, I can't wait to see all the yello belly footage from that weekend
It is actually an external cooler. At the pits, we plug it in and it pulls the fluid out of the trans, cools it and circulates it back in. It can also warm up the oil before a pass if needed. Pretty neat contraption.

@@tuloko16 yeah, if I had to guess it's probably have one of the Cool It ones that you can pack full of ice and everything, they're pretty wild
He's could be using hydraulic fluid in the tranny as well. Mine doesn't even get hot on street duty.
@@tuloko16 No external cooler used. Trans still uses regular fluid it does not use tractor fluid (hydraulic fluid)

Ryan is one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met he’s a regular guy and never let’s winning go to his head and he’s quite an engineer because he knows everything that car does and needs to get down a road. He has sensors on everything and knows how to read and make adjustments on that car!
