I played there over 10 years ago and the changes look great. I am thinking of moving to Hereford so this would be my club of choice. Loving the videos Simon.

It looks lovely, and James' pro shop looks stuffed to the gills!!! That's an amazing price for the hire of the simulator (for want of a better description!) too. The course looks pretty good as well, even from just those shots! And, bloody hell, it's cheap to play!!!! Happy days!
£15 an hour is very good. I might hire it myself next time I'm out there if nobody is having a lesson. The course was in mint condition, the greens were scary fast and one of us shot a 1 over 71.
If I lived in Hereford I would join there, I think it's that good. Obviously never played the back tees but I'm sure that can be arranged. Would be fun to try it out full length and try to avoid an ass whooping.
Video Friday with my friend James the head Pro. I did have a sausage and egg roll for lunch. Wrong day for the carvery and probably far too large to play golf on.
A club "down the road" are building a new clubhouse, they got a grant of 2mill, clubhouse cost 5mill, then the Architects forgot some major water issues so the cost blew out to 7mill, how the "bleep" could they have over looked water issues ie tanks etc as these are normal planning Requirements etc. The club allegedly asked a well known golfer if he would contribute, he said no, if it was the course itself then it was a yes. How the heck are they going to recoup the borrowed 5mill, Members fees will go through the roof and green fees. So many clubs do this yet golfers spend 90% of their time on the course. Trouble is the Board aren't spending their own money, its the members who have to pay it back.
Good grief! I've seen that before but not to that price. The golfers will pay it off with green fees, visitor fees and joining fees. One place here I would never go to as the fees went throgh the roof to cover the committees spending. Spending that wasn't approved by the members. They lost 200 members because of it. First time in decades the waiting list got emptied. In this case the new owners wanted to invest and the green fess have not moved.
The youngest is moving out so you can stay with us. Don't bring the tent. I'll get you booked on the shitsville flyer out of dingos piss creek. You might have to peddle to get it up.
Hello Simon, I wasn't paid to say anything. I haven't been paid to do anything on this channel. I was invited to play the course and I added this in off my own back as a thankyou. I had no direction, no words were put in my mouth. I'm just being enthusiastic for a golf course I love playing. A lovely course that is affordable for ordinary people to play. The great thing is being free to say what I like and I would never say anything I don't believe in. I was sent a range finder this year that was awful. I sent it back saying I could not make a video about it unless you want me to say it's bloody awful. They told me to bin it rather than send it back. I binned it. Honesty is important to me. Both products and what I score.
