I'm going to state an unpopular opinion here: People always talk about stardust speedway or quartz quadrant being the best us good future, which I'll say, they are very good and deserve likeability. But no one, and I mean NO ONE ever talks about *Metallic Madness Good Future US.* Honestly, for me it's the most underrated good future, and the most underrated US track overall. It's very fitting for a good future, and for the final level itself. It has a very surreal and calm melody and I really like the different sounds played with the melody. The sounds I hear feel mechanical which fit the stage. Also, a good future doesn't need to be cheerful or happy, it can just be a nice soothing tune to listen to like this one. But the most important part about this track, is that it fits the atmosphere for a final level perfectly. While the Japanese version is very good and fitting for the scenery, it fits act 1 and 2 more. The US version does fit act 1 and 2, but it definitely fits act 3 much more. It's giving you a sense of loyalty and hope that you will be able to take down Robotnik and save little planet. But it is showing that there may be dangers you face during the battle, so don't take it lightly. It really engages and encourages the player to focus, keep moving on and save little planet. I really don't get how underrated this is, as in my opinion, it's one of those tracks that had more put into it. It's a lot more creative than other tracks. The Us metallic madness tracks were worked on amazingly and I would *highly advise* everyone to start listening to this track, and the other US metallic madness tracks.
I will never understand why people say that Tidal Tempest Good Future US is unfitting for a water level. Like, the Good Future of Tidal Tempest is literally an aquarium. And don't tell me you haven't ever heard rock music in summer scenes of American movies. This track is clearly a reference to that!
While I do prefer the Japanese OST, I must admit that the composers of this one did an absolutely incredible job especially considering they were only given two months. This soundtrack just fits the visuals of the game way better imo. Like I absolutely love the Japanese good future theme for Quartz Quadrant, but it just bugs me how it barely fits with the actual stage. While the US one suits the neon futuristic cave theme perfectly.
I've seen this same complaint often, and I thought so myself, until I actually listened to it for more than a minute. The electric guitar isn't only capable of creating harsh, "bad future" vibes. Here it sounds hopeful and heroic, especially when you compare it to it's Bad Future counterpart. The whole melody mirrors Present's mysterious vibe, while also changing some notes to more upbeat ones (idk how to explain this better, I'm no musician). Try now to relisten to all three versions side by side, you'll likely change your view.
The US Boss Theme really doesn't fit the Good Future backgrounds as it does with the Bad Future backgrounds however the JP Boss Theme definitely fits the Good Future backgrounds
@@Frenchmapperonastick1812 this guy thinks the Usa is reusing the bad future for good future tracks which isn’t the case, so I listed the levels that don’t reuse music from the bad future
There's 2 Tracks which are vastly Superior to the Japanese and one that's almost as good but i gotta give the overall Music to the Japanese for better overall Good future Music. The bad Futures however is a clean sweep for the USA tracks imo with one that's almost a pick 'em but the USA still wins out on it. Also the Ending theme is of course all USA but also Comes with the awful Boss music.. which everyone already knows is TERRIBLE

I don't like it very much, those bongos make the metallic noises sound weird.

Metallic Madness Good Future is one of the most underrated Sonic CD tracks ever IMO.
I Hate all the tracks from the US version of Metallic Madness.
