    WARNING! The language is Filipino, my native tongue (TAGALOG). So apologies if you are one of my international viewers who are eager to watch my videos even if it's not in English.
    This video tutorial is extremely boring.. however, it's fully packed with free-of-charge information and knowledge.
    Grab something to drink with some snacks, a bag of cookies, and a glass of milk, a mug of hot freshly brewed coffee, or a cup of tea. Make yourself comfortable and be attentive. It is highly recommended to stay awake during the entire video. lol, DO NOT FALL ASLEEP! Otherwise, you'll miss something really important.
    In this video, I emphasized the importance of cell datasheets or specs. It is highly recommended that when you buy any cell from an online seller or any actual store, you "MUST" ask the seller to provide a datasheet of the cell. The safety of your projects as well as yours depends on how well you know your cells. Avoid accidents caused by guessing, know your cells from the datasheets.
    I have ordered 4 pieces of Sinopoly 100Ah cells and have waited enough for it, so I decided to proceed with the video tutorial without it. So apologies if I only managed to show you guys the specs of it and not the actual cells. However, the Lithium Titanate cell, I have never touched any of these types of cells. But for a reason, I have to include it in this video with just specs of it due to some requests I received in my FB messenger. Besides these two types of cells, I also include different types of cells as examples of C-Rate calculation.
    The types of cells in this video are:
    1. Sinopoly LiFePo4 100Ah
    2. Lithium Titanate 40Ah
    3. 32650 LiFePo4 6Ah
    4. 18650 Lithium-Ion 3.4Ah

    Do not skip any part of the video, for everything in it is interconnected to the whole presentation. The given capacity of the cell is always the default 1C rate. So if your cell has 100Ah capacity, it means its 1C Rate is 100A.

      Eto simplest explanation for C-Rate.
      If you have a battery that's rated as 12v 2000mAh with 2c charging current and 1c Discharge means pwede mo icharge battery mo up to max at 4A (2C twice of the rated charging current).. doing so will let you charge it at 30mins . If icha-charge mo siya at 2A (1c) then you'll finish charging in an hour.
      Sa discharging rate nmn, If you're battery is rated at 5c and you have a capacity of 2000mAh (2Ah), you can draw up to 10A max from your battery but you'll end up depleting it at 1/5 of an hour..
      LiPo or lithium polymers used in drones Lalo na sa mga racing drones can have a discharge rate of up to 100C Kaya kahit 1500mAh lng siya we can draw current of up to 150A during races without destroying our LiPo packs per for sure within 3-5 minutes low bat na kami

    Thanx for the video brother...correct me if Im wrong......according to the data sheet the Maximum Continuous Discharging Current is 4400Ma or 2C...for each cell....therefore I have 10 cells in parallel and the total Maximum Continuous Discharging Current then it would be 44000Ma or 44A for my lithium ion battery.. my battery is 13S10P 52V 25Ah...

    Thanx for your quick response ...Now knowing the DSCP rate of 44A for my battery...I have another issue ...I have 2 motors, 2 controllers and this battery. Because I have 2 motors and 2 controllers does this mean that more current is being drawn from this battery. Each motor is rated 1000W 52V and the BMS is 52V 30A

    ang sabi po nyu sa 1C at may katumbas na 60minutes. the kung 2C ay 30minutes. ang mathematical computation nyu na ginamit ay division (÷). bkit po division, bkit hindi multiplication (×), kung ang pagbabatayan at 1C=60 minutes, so 2C = 120minutes. magtatanung lang po dahil bago lang po ako sa ganito. more power to you sir.

      Good day. Sa simpleng paliwanag ay, tumaas ang charging current, syempre iiksi ang oras ng pag charge. Kung bababa naman ang charging current, hahaba naman ang oras ng pag charge. Kung hindi mo pa din makuha. Panoorin mo ng buo ang video.

    Gud evening. Sir, matanong ko Lang po sana if mag set up po ako ng offgrid 24 volts which is naka series po na 2 piraso 12v gel type battery, ano po ba mga bagay na dapat Kong iconsider or gawin sa battery before ko po siya isalpak sa off-grid solar set up ko?
    I mean kc po d ba sa lithium battery kailangan muna siya i-top balance then kailangan din kabitan ng BMS.
    Then ano po pala sir ung device na pwedeng ikabit sa gel type solar battery para mamonitor if malapit na sa 50% ung DOD?

      Pwedeng i match o mas mababa ang amp rate ng BMS kesa C-rate ng battery bank. Isa pang basehan dyan ay ang magiging load. 😊👍

      Good day. Paumanhin at wala akong alam na kung anl ang magandang brand ng LiFePO4 cells dyan sa Pilipinas. Ang totoo nyan ay, lahat ng mga old stock and used na galing China, mapa 32650 o 32700 at maging Sinopoly Prismatic cells, ay ibinabagsak po sa Pilipinas.

    Sir jf question po if tama un computation about 32650 ex. Po nag build ako ng 10p8s ang standard charge lng po ng battery pack is 12amp

      Depende sa specs ng 32650 cells. Kung ang capacity nyan ay 6,000mAh (6Ah) at kung ang nakasulat sa C-rate (charging) ay .5C, yan 3A per cell. Kung 10P, yan 30A charging current. Halimabawa lang ano. So check nyo ang specs/datasheet ng gamit nyong 32650 cells. 😊👍

      Kung naka set ng tama ang charging voltage ng SCC o anumang charger ayon sa maximum voltage ng battery, kusang hihinto ang charging process.

      Hindi pupwede… magkaiba ang max voltage, cut-off, at nominal voltage. Higit sa lahat, magkaiba ang chemistry.
