Hello Doctor.. at the end of 2015 I had hairloss mainly on temple region but still had volume of hair and not sure whether it is telegon effuvium or male pattern baldness .. But I was advised by the doctor to take finasteride for 4 months and biotin capsule for 4 months .. he also suggested me to take minoxidil 10 % daily once at night only on temple region .. after 2 months I started my PRP sessions .. I have the opposite problem. Minoxidil works too well. I have a problem with overstimulation and constant growth of new hairs that push the old hairs out continuously. When I stop, it grows normally. I haven't been able to find the right balance.

hello Tushar, by reading your description the treatment you are having for your hair loss is not at all the main line treatment. I think you are suffering from androgenetic alopecia and only minoxidil and finasteride are the FDA approved medicines for the hair loss and others are just evidence based medicines. in the initial stage of usage of minoxidil, there is always a hair loss as many hairs are going into anagen phase from telogen phase and this is a good sign. and minoxidil takes 3 months to show good results.

Hello Doctor.. at the end of 2015 I had hairloss mainly on temple region but still had volume of hair and not sure whether it is telegon effuvium or male pattern baldness .. But I was advised by the doctor to take finasteride for 4 months and biotin capsule for 4 months .. he also suggested me to take minoxidil 10 % daily once at night only on temple region .. after 2 months I started my PRP sessions .. I have the opposite problem. Minoxidil works too well. I have a problem with overstimulation and constant growth of new hairs that push the old hairs out continuously. When I stop, it grows normally. I haven't been able to find the right balance.

by reading your description the treatment you are having for your hair loss is not at all the main line treatment. I think you are suffering from androgenetic alopecia and only minoxidil and finasteride are the FDA approved medicines for the hair loss and others are just evidence based medicines. in the initial stage of usage of minoxidil, there is always a hair loss as many hairs are going into anagen phase from telogen phase and this is a good sign. and minoxidil takes 3 months to show good results.
