Thanks! Quick and easy and I did it right first time! Im not new so that's refreshing lol. I am making things for a craft show sale in October in our senior apt complex. And 3 grandkids and 2 greatgrandsons!
Just made a bunch of these, but instead of stuffing them I put in little plastic cat balls from the dollar store with bells inside! My friends kitty’s gonna love em
These are so cute. What kind of stuffing would I use to make it more of a ball? I tried the first one I made without putting any stuffing in it to see if my cat daughter likes it :0).
@@CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie Okay, thanks. I'll try that. I don't have any, but will have to get some next time I'm out. I'm gonna change the hook size to a 6mm to see if that does better. My first yarn ball didn't look quite like the way yours came out 'cause I used a 5mm crochet hook. I did everything right though.
My cat daughter loves the crocheted yarn balls. She was playing with the second one I did right. I'm gonna take the first yarn ball apart and put it together the right way. I didn't put it together right lol.
I’ve stuffed balls with scrap material too. Like little ends of yarn and scrap pieces of cloth (I quilt too so I have lots of little pieces) lol. No waste!
Old fabrics work well, too. Torn t-shirts, socks, etc. Just cut them to size if you make something small, and then stuff it in. I made great stress balls out of old knitted socks. Just rolled them up tight, and closed the ball over them.
How do you fidget with them? I’m ADD. Just curious I thought maybe you could pull the different colors around prayer they flip inside out. Does anyone know if love to make one of they do

Yay 😀
Really well explained. I can basic juggle the cascade - so THANK YOU!
Thank you! I made it in Christmas colors to make baubbles to hang on the tree, with glittery red, green and white yarns.
What a great idea 💡 🥰

A poly fill stuffing - you can buy it at Walmart or any hobby store 😊
