His IQ is off the chart... The dude can score at any level, very consistent shooter and his court vision is something else. In my opinion, the best big man. People say he can't defend, but look how many deflections he has. He can't outjump you, but he defends with his IQ. Very active hands. I'm not saying he is an outstanding defender, but it's not so bad as people say.
So true, the joker has easily become one of my favorite players.
My only knock on him till last season was his defense. In the playoffs it's a different level on that end. Anthony Davis looked more than human, got bodied multiple times.

Love this team, the patience, playing the right way, and building the institution of team. Jokic is the one and only, but it's so awesome to watch these guys around him buying in, and the basketball that comes out on my screen is so beautiful and fun. I think Nuggets will soon get the chip, and from that moment on it's gonna be so difficult to take it away from them.

I think from basketball perspective, people in Serbia were actually worried that they will bring bad influence on him, knowing their past. Hey, his team mates love him and that speaks volumes. "Love", team love is the chemistry. After work "lets go feed and water the horses." I heard that he even mucks out his horses stalls, that's a lesson right there. New fans are excited. Go boys go.
They'll come out on the court and try to fight. That's how Serbs are speaking from experience. They are always fighting, whether its Germans, Austrians, Hungarians, Bosniaks, Bulgarians, Croatians, Albanians, Ottomans, NATO no stopping very similar to Russians mentality wise. In some aspects they have some similarities to us, but I'd say more so to Russians even though we all the same Slavic tribe.

Jokic is the modern version of Arvydas Sabonis, the father of DomanTas Sabonis of the indiana pacers. Arvydas in his 20s is a 7'3 center that can run the floor, make plays for his team mates and can hit 3s. I have. I’ve seen centers like jokic before. Arvydas sabonis was the jokic of his era for sure. How about wilt chamberlain ? Wilt was a hell of a passer for his time, but a much better/more willing passer than jokic. And unlike jokic, wilt was a transcendent ATHLETE as well. And although this guy has a horrific reputation now in the nba, what about demarcus cousins in Sacramento ? Cousins was a big guy who had amazing post skills, could definitely space the floor with his faceup game, and was a great passer for a center. Cousins averaged basically 5 assists as a true C. That’s still pretty good for a non wing/backcourt player
