  • Unveiling Porsche's Revolutionary Engine: A Game-Changer
As the world races toward an all-electric future by 2030, there's a rebel on the horizon. Porsche, the iconic German automaker, is not waving the white flag to electric vehicles. No, they're doubling down with a jaw-dropping $100 million investment in e-Fuels, aiming to revolutionize traditional internal combustion engines!
Hold on to your seats as we uncover how Porsche, in a brilliant move, plans to preserve our beloved internal-combustion engine amidst a sea of electric cars. The European Commission threw a curveball by exempting synthetic fuels from the proposed 2035 ban on combustion engines. Porsche seems to have cracked the code, replacing liquid dinosaurs with eco-friendly synthetic fuels.
But here's the burning question: How does it all work? Can we expect this tech sooner than we think? And, most importantly, should we believe in this game-changing innovation?
In today's video, we look at Unveiling Porsche's Revolutionary Engine: A Game-Changer

This video states that Porsche made an inline 6-cyl engine. Porsche is famous for their horizontally opposed "Flat six" configuration. Once the inline 6 was mentioned this video lost all credibility, I watched a little longer to find nothing of any substance. If you are in the comments to work out if it's worth watching or to work out if it not only sounds incorrect to you, do yourself a favour and do your own research on the topic elsewhere. This has been put together for views only. I hope this comment does not push this detritus up the algo any further.

No explanation as to how this 'revolutionary engine' works.

There is nothing new here, just Porshe promoting their push for renewable fuels and home-brand flavor of hybrid power train using an engine that features the newest gasoline engine efficiency bells and whistles. I have no problem imagining hybrid power trains of one description or another running on renewable fuels being necessary for the next 50+ years.

Isn't the net energy required to produce synthetic fuel greater than the net energy released by burning the fuel? Where does the energy required to produce the fuel come from?

Everything in the universe is less than 100% efficient .

There is a lot of talk in this video without anything actually being said. No facts, just marketing doublespeak

Can someone please come up with a new word to replace the word 'game-changer'? Used about as often as 'racist'.

There already is a BEV future, but there are still ppl that either find themselves surprised at how far behind they are or don't read much and just go with the fossil fuel talking points

EVs are better for the environment than ICE cars. That is a low standard but it is the one to use.
