no matter if the driving is free, i would still have to add the road/bridge toll for trailer to the cost for long drives where i live. that is something like 50€ (200km)100€ (500km) each way not that solar trailers dont have a use. but i hope this is not the future grid we are looking at right now my goverment are pushing charging deals from companys that will allways be expensive pretty much everyone that owns a parking lot for 15 cars or more have to put up chargers from a company
I know it can be expensive, but if you can put in your own solar, it is worth it. I have yet to go to a charger I would have to pay for. I agree the cost at these chargers are going up, even here in the US. What country are you in, I have travelled throughout Europe.
Didn't see any ventilation on those 6000xp's...I have two of these units, they need 8" of clearance on each side for the fans, make sure you don't close those up inside the boxes without ventilation...
I do know that. I have some vent fans meant for outdoor uses. It will never be the same airflow as if they were outside the box but I only discharge with both doors open. I leave the one propped open while driving and charging. Only one of these have PV inputs. It is a work in progress but thank you for your input!
Thanks for letting me know. The garage floor is an inch above the drive. I think it looked low when it dropped down onto the drive. Checked the pressure... All good!
th-cam.com/video/WM9v-OM7Yd0/w-d-xo.html Beyond those costs I bought the Batteries for $3,500 new and then three overkill solar BMSs for $525. Then Cable... Etc... I agree that it was not free but potentially it is free for the life of the trailer. I haven't charged the Silverado EV once other than from solar.
Nice setup!
Glad you think so!
Excellent progress
Thanks!

"for free"...???
And how much have you invested in this "solar trailer" and your battery packs...???
Far from being "free"...

$10,000 worth of battery and this guy keeps saying "for free" lol
Good Point! Agreed, this was never an attempt to save money. Energy Independence,,,
@@Roberteeeeeee I can understand that! Currently in the middle of building 100% off grid. The independence is nice but its anything but free.
