Amazing recording. The fugue is literally perfect in my opinion: there are no interpretative choices I would change.

Delightful baroque violin sound, warm, velvety, a superb sense of tempo, one more great Russian musician. Viktoriya ran away from the Soviet Union and is a renowned concertist. She was a student of Leonid Kogan in Moscow. She has recorded violin music from Vivaldi to Stravinsky and Bartok. She lives in London. Her violin sound is rich, rather sentimental, technically perfect, very Russian. Thanks Contrapunctus XIX for posting this splendid music.

Delightful indeed. So disciplined and so pure and so beautiful. I am deeply moved. I wonder why not many yet have listened to this. Thank you ContraP XIX for posting and thank you Jorge for the analysis.
