Wow bro, I used to rent a pad near Aling Sosing during my stint as a photojournalist years ago. Sosing was my go-to whenever I crave for seafood. Life is good😃🍹

The food is hot because its still early and they've just freshly cooked the food. If you arrive after 12, those will be lukewarm or cold even.

Good thing I arrived early, honestly really dislike cold food, it doesn't digest as well in my stomach either

No dont! Its made for non discriminating hungry palete thrifty locals because of unli rice and soup gimik but as far as seasoned food vlogger it'll be just bland oily food, with so many pares and original which is basically beef stew not pork fatty fat fat deep fried with soupy sauce. It already got negative review by other local food vloggers whos in it for realest review.

The prices have already increased and it's understandable due to the inflation. Carinderias used to be more affordable but, it's business. 🥲 Awesome entry, Kuya PK!

Bro, you nailed it. You ate like a local. Good job. The dishes you ordered mostly best sellers. The shrimp with vegie is called sinigang na hipon (sour soup). A tamarind flavor that makes it sour. Continue interacts with locals. Filipinos love local vibes. 👍😎

I think it's fair. I tried to guess the total bill and came up with P400 to P450. The vegetable dish could be P60, the shrimp P80, the beef dish P70 to P80. The squid definitely costs somewhere between P200 to P250.

another suggestion bro, if you'd like to have a very good time, every Sunday in Ayala ave Makati, the whole avenue is closed for Joggers and bikers. It's car free Sunday during 6am - 10am. You'll love to engage with locals ❤

5:27 That's not the head of the squid you're holding right there. That is the fin of the squid which the squid flaps to swim in the water. It is in the bottom end part of the squid. The head is located at the base of the tentacles.
7:52 That dish is shrimps in coconut milk. The vegetable you see there is called "kangkong" or water spinach. Some call it swamp cabbage.
