Use Sauce sauce and squeeze calamansi next time then the chili should be on that little bowl, and then dip the chicken in it for extra flavor and a little bit of kick. Also that kinda orangey oil,put it on the top of the java rice and you can put some soy sauce with kalamansi and chili . That's the correct way of eating Mang inasal.
Chicken Inasal, a beloved Filipino dish, has its roots deeply embedded in the rich culinary history of Iloilo, particularly along the scenic shores of Villa Beach. This flavorful grilled chicken dish emerged during the early 1900s and was first documented by the Ilonggo-Antiqueño photographer Felix Laureano in his 1895 book. With a photography studio located on J.M. Basa Street in the late 1800s, Laureano captured various aspects of life in Iloilo, including local delicacies. One of his notable photographs from around 1895 features a "Calenderia," a makeshift eatery that sold various food items, including the then-nascent Inasal nga Manok, or grilled chicken. As time progressed, Chicken Inasal became increasingly popular among the local Ilonggo community, especially among weekend excursionists who frequented the picturesque Villa Beach in the Villa Arevalo District of Iloilo City. I fondly recall my childhood in the 1960s and 1970s, when families would gather along the expansive shores of Villa Beach, particularly in the Calumpang and Calaparan areas, to enjoy quality time together after attending Sunday Mass. The air was often perfumed with the enticing aroma of not only Chicken Inasal but also Pig and Chicken Lechon, often stuffed with tangy tamarind and fragrant lemongrass leaves, creating an intoxicating sensory experience. During those weekends, my parents would bring my siblings and me to Fort San Pedro, a historical site in Iloilo City. We would settle into the comfortable wooden Adirondack chairs at the Cordova family's Fort San Pedro Drive Inn, where we indulged in delicious Chicken Inasal. The recipe passed down through generations of the Cordova family, was said to hold the essence of tradition and authenticity. Beyond simply enjoying the food, we made it a ritual to bask in the healthy early morning sun, a practice my mother championed, and which indeed contributed to our well-being. Fast forward to today, and MANG INASAL stands out as the most famed purveyor of Chicken Inasal in the Philippines. Founded by Edgar "Injap" Jaruda Sia II, who hailed from La Paz, Iloilo City, and Roxas City, the first Mang Inasal store opened its doors in the parking building of the Robinsons Iloilo Mall on De Leon Street, close to the Santa Teresita Parish Church. This original location holds significant historical value, as it was here that the renowned Mang Inasal dish was first served to the public. In a testament to the dish's enduring popularity and his commitment to honoring its origins, Mr. Injap Sia established his 500th Mang Inasal store in Iloilo City in 2018. This milestone store is located at the Gaisano Iloilo City Center on Sen. Benigno S. Aquino, Jr. Avenue (Diversion Road), paying homage to Iloilo City as the birthplace of the cherished Mang Inasal Chicken that continues to bring joy to countless Filipinos. /posts.gle/LQ8Zuq By: John Juan
the orange liquid like sweet and spicy sauce thats CHICKEN OIL you put that on the rice or in the chicken so the chicken will become more juicy and tasty that way you can experience the filipino way...
Jollibee, Mang Inasal, Red Ribbon, Greenwhich Pizza and Chowking are owned by one family under their flagship firm Jollibee Foods Corporation. The Caktiong family does not like competition so they acquired all those food restaurants. Smart move, right?
I appreciated for your eating session here in Mang inasal just like Pilipino we eat using our hands because we feel taste and flavors, thank you PK 4 appreciating our food and thank you 4 your using your hands just like common Pilipino or Pinoy. Thumbs Up 4 you 4 choosing Philippines 4 your vlog ❤

Though i love jollibee, i just love Mang Inasal too! If i have to eat fast, then it's jollibee. But if i have enough time and eat liesurely without a care.. then it's Mang Inasal!
You can always ask for a soup because filipinos like soup, we submerge our rice with soup always. Also that soup is not seafood, just made with different seasoning. I doubt there's any seafood in it haha.
The only thing I'd do different here is to eat Mang Inasal with your hands (it's encouraged in that restaurant...don't do that at all of the restaurants, lol)
Good thing Mang Inasal served only chicken empanadas. I am not too sure about that sinigang/tamarind soup, if it is pork or fish. 🧐 But eating without knowing wont hurt right? 😬
Mang Inasal has the best taste and freebies way before acquired by Jollibee Foods Corp. If you want a REAL INASAL go to Bacolod.... We missed the Original Taste and freebies of The Old Mang Inasal.
@@Travel_chronicles Correct, that's why whenever I eat at mang inasal, I opted not to be serve with their sinigang soup. They are so lazy to make a delicious broth which is so easy to do.
You have been eating a Filipino food for many times but still you didn't learn how to eat it right, everything fried or grilled should be dipping in a sauce to make it even better and any dish on the table you are putting into your mouth should be mix with rice to balance the taste even better, or else you wouldn't appreciate the food for lacking in taste.🤔
Mang inasal originated in Iloilo. Their first store is in robinsons Iloilo and still operating

Filipino word respeto/respect flower/bulaklak
I thought I heard "fungus" 😅
Bangus (milk fish) is pronounced as "ba-ngoos" ... not "bang-gus".

Kain Lang kaibigan masarap mga pagkain dito SA pinas 😂❤
The inasal chicken taste better if you dip it in soy sauce with calamansi and chili.
Can’t keep watching ur videos man always making me hungry while eating ramen lol 😂
Lmao!
Mas masarap yan sa jollibee😍🙌
Not a rice virgin anymore, try the unli rice option one portion of chicken , my record is 8 cups of rice. Just call kuya to refill your rice
my record is 9 cups but I had 11.
11 cup is here
That's crazyyyy I'd have to be there for 5 hours to finish 8 cups 🤣🤣🤣
That's nuts!!
You can always ask for a soup because filipinos like soup, we submerge our rice with soup always. Also that soup is not seafood, just made with different seasoning. I doubt there's any seafood in it haha.
Try to find the traditional Halo Halo which has no colorful gelatin, all fruits
When you said FUNGUS I was so confused lol, Its pronounced Bang-oos,
The only thing I'd do different here is to eat Mang Inasal with your hands (it's encouraged in that restaurant...don't do that at all of the restaurants, lol)

I should probably ask before eating tbh lol
Handsome guy
I hate to be the bearer of bad news: Local empanadas are stuffed with ground pork.
its probably 2% pork and the 98% flour and veggies (at least other empanadas sold on the street)
@@eduardochavacanolol no pork just flavouring 😂
😢😢

gopd news mang inasals empanadas is chicken not pork ❤❤❤
Jollibee ang Mang inasal only one owner chowking Greenwich. Pizza
that was a very delicious pork filling empanada.
The fish is called Bangus. Its pronounced as Ba-ngus. Not Bang-gus.
"Bung-gus" 😂
It's actually "bang-oos"
“With no rice” in a Filipino restaurant is a no no.
Bunggus?😅
its pork
😭
the best chicken Inasal for me however is not Mang Inasal but JTs Manukan and they have several branches in Manila
Ahhhhh I gotta try that! So far my fav is the one in Bacolod hahah
You mispronounced Bangus sisig. It's BANG - NGUS or simply call it milkfish
Bangus sisig not bungus ❤
That soup is just plain water and powdered sinigang mix. The nerve of that fast food.
Powder? Actually? 😢
@@Travel_chronicles Correct, that's why whenever I eat at mang inasal, I opted not to be serve with their sinigang soup. They are so lazy to make a delicious broth which is so easy to do.

Why does it matter how he eats Filipino food? You're nitpicking. Why don't you just appreciate that he visited Philippines?
Fungus sisig? No thanks
To be honest mang inasal is not that good anymore than what it was. Thier chicken is sometimes dull and tastes umps
that was a very delicious pork filling empanada.
Ohhhh nooo 😮
