  • At 31:50 is the closest strike! Check out the next storm we had! • 2 Great lightning stor... These springtime storms are AWESOME!!!
So much lightning! For most of the video the is lightning multiple times per second. At 31:50 is the closest strike that was within a block or two, but the actual strike not on the video. Very loud and scary! There is awesome power in the lightning! To bad we can't put it on the grid...

These kinds of storms are my favorite. Almost every single flash is hitting the ground. Definitely doesn’t happen often where I live.
What amazes me is how much variety there can be to the behavior of lightning. Severe storms with wind and hail have those strobe flashes where the sky is constantly flickering, but the lightning doesn’t hit the ground very often so the thunder is more of a constant pealing and rolling, like a bowling rink in the sky. Its often the slightly calmer storms that have the most ferocious bolts and crashing thunder.

I just had a couple of those storms in Florida during our trip this year. Not one day during our 8 day trip was without at least 1 lightning storm. It was insane. So many flashes in the sky and so many bolts. It was such a great storm-filled trip and I loved it even more because in Western NY, storms like that are so rare, but yet we got great storms every day for 8 days straight and for multiple days there were storms after we left, for a total of 11 days straight, and that's not counting any potential days before we even arrived there.

Greets from Flanders( Belgium).Neighbour from over the North See.Storms here are peanuts. In the Netherlands the storms are more intens than in Flanders. But never say never. In the eighties when I was a child thunderstorms has been more intens. In the seventies and sixties storms in de low counties has been stronger.25 june of 1967 a EF-3 tornado hits Oostmalle and moves to Netherland.Chaam and Tricht.7 people died.So mother nature keeps her secrets!!!❤

A couple weeks ago we had an electrical storm just like that in Greenwood SC. Ended beautifully though. Rainbow and all. Got a cool cloud pic after it passed of it continuing to build and form. It was direct strike after direct strike. Loud as hell. I know some of my really tall trees had to have been hit. Would be a shame to see 200+ year old trees die from a lightning strike. That much lightning usually indicates a tornado is close. Your camera picks up thunder nicely. Mine barely picks up lightning.....and no thunder unless it's deafening.

Lufkin! During a storm chasing trip to east Texas in 2021, we parked there but only got some severe thunderstorms. No tornadoes in a rural area unfortunately. Still an interesting trip though.

Central east Tx is fairly low tornado area. NE TX has more. That is a big part of the reason we chose here. Minimal tornadoes than the north, and less hurricane impact from the south. Low population, less crime. Big enough city to have Home Depot. But MAN! Do we get lightning!?!?! I love it here!

People better wake up and repent and turn to god and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15. All around the world, severe weather and natural disasters are happening more and more and the breaking down of society continually to a place where it's almost insanity
