I lived in Louisiana, Baton Rouge, for 6 years . Almost every afternoon from May until late September we would have a thunderstorm. The intense heat and humidity meant that the updrafts would shoot up like a rocket once they punched into the cold dry air above. That and most days a sea breeze boundary would come off of lake pontchartrain and head toward Baton Rouge and provide lift. They could pop up at any time really. Some of the most intense lightning I have ever seen. That and torrential downpours. My drive home from work was usually wipers on high and me jumping and cursing with each lightning strike! Great video!!!
I love watching these storm videos that people have recorded from home, it brings me excitement, when I use to live in Ohio we were all about watching the storms, I’m in Utah now and we don’t get storms like this but we get some mild ones compared to what we did in Ohio
Wild storms and lightning strikes! Not to go on a tangent, but your voice strangely reminds me of one of my favorite voice actors - Samuel Vincent! He currently plays a character named Lloyd Garmadon (in Ninjago) which also sounds similar to you. I kept thinking you were either the voice actor or one of the characters he played while screaming at a thunderstorm, lol. Great vid!
It developed on top of my city. It was stationary for an hour. They can do that. Flash flood warned thunderstorms are usually stationary or slow moving for quite a long time
First storm was nice so is the 2nd! Love storms an I’m in ohio we had a tornado last year shit was wild! Especially where I live in ohio! Anyways I got an ask did I see a couple turkeys out in the rain at the beginning of the video when the rain came down harder?
I’ll bring my commentary down some so I’m not rambling the whole time but I’ll be sure to say a few things. I hope that satisfies both preferences. Thank you for your feedback

Enjoying the video and actually enjoying the commentary as it is more like being there Thank you
Id be cussing if lightning was that close
Some great lightning footage there and love the commentary too, well done 👏
I have.
Last night for instance.
At 2:30 am in the morning.
Wild storms and lightning strikes!

How neat lighting strikes
You're telling me a thunderstorm can just stay frozen in place or just stop moving?
It developed on top of my city. It was stationary for an hour. They can do that. Flash flood warned thunderstorms are usually stationary or slow moving for quite a long time
nice storm i love storms the thunder and lightning i feel it release all that negative energy from my body.
You're lucky it's only high voltage pink lightning and not the loud short blue high amperage lightning.
Everything I've seen shows me regular thunderstorms. Unnecessary drama over nothing!
I like your video you did good I hate storms
I approve! 😊 Love this!
Thank you!
Nice closer strikes in the first storm, good lightning footage overall but kind of some Clickbait here

I wouldn’t be surprised. We have lots of them in New Hampshire
Wow this was a fierce storm! This was in New Hampshire?
Yes this was in September 2023 Manchester and Hooksett New Hampshire
One of the strongest storms I’ve been in
Are you a storm spotter?
Chaser
@@jarl.aegir.anthonysson awesome
If thats the worse you ve ever seen you should live in the midewst!
I plan to move there when I can afford my own housing
This video contains strong language and flashing images😂Impressive storms
Indeed. Again I apologize for the language
Where the clouds anvils and overshooting tops too?
They were there however I wasn’t yet recording the storm practically came out if nowhere I didn’t even notice it until the first rumble of thunder
There was no warning it rapidly materialized on top of my hometown
Sorry, that wasn't a severe thunderstorm. A severe storm requires 50 knot (about 58 mph) or greater winds and/or 1 inch or greater diameter hail.
The national weather service warned it
That may be true, but the portion of the storm shown in the video, did not appear to exhibit any severe weather.
Yes that was the case. No wind no hail but lightning was violent
dang it looks like this storm is being serious and its very dangerous situation
Loved the storm, hated the running commentary. Couldn’t watch it. Too bad it looked fun.
Fair enough
I’ll remember that from now on. Thank you for your feedback
i like storm recordings with commentary, i can never find any.

You talk to much. No thanks
